Arrived insanely early (5:30) by bus yet were still able to check in right away which was great. Thank you front office! Room and hotel are in bad shape. We were given magnetic room keys and safety deposit box key, yet they wrote the room number on it. Handy if so some unscrupulous individual should find them. Bathroom had peeling wallpaper and damaged toilet seat. Beds had no mattress pads so when you lifted the sheet you could see all sorts of stains, disgusting. Overall the room and building made you feel like you didn't want to touch anything. Nice pool, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast area had upholstered seats full of stains. Would never stay again nor recommend.
A nice hotel but in need to be renewed

Located between the 2 main squares and with easy access to 3 museums, churches and pedestrian zone It has a nice entrance with a small lobby., Rooms are ample enough, quite old fashioned and with old furniture. Clean but old covers and lamps. Artificial lighting is very good. Beds are comfortable, pillows are just fine. The minibar has a couple of sodas.. There is no coffee-machine or ironing board. There are few plugs, some of them with American type outlets. There is a large mirror. The bathroom is clean and cheap but ample enough. The shower is potent, water is warm. They have a bath tube quite slippery and with a half glass partition, so, impossible not to flood the floor. They offer just the minimal amenities (no shower cap, no paper handkerchiefs, no body lotion). There is no augmentation mirror but the hair-dryer works very well. Towels definitely need to be renewed, they are worn out, very thin and already grayish. Bed sheets are cheap and a bit scratchy. Room had an old wall-installed noisy AC, so you wake up several times during the night when it re-starts. Breakfast does not have a very wide selection quality is just fine. Staff is correct. In summary, a decent hotel to stay one or two nights but under the average level for a provincial capital city.
Nice large heritage hotel near Junin pedestrian street.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights with a Hotels.com guaranteed reservation for a Superior Double. After arriving on the 8 PM bus from Resistencia, we taxied(100 Ap) 5 km northwest to this 150 room hotel. The receptionist in the beautiful updated lobby with cafe and restaurant, speaking hotel English, took our passports to enter our guest details before providing our room cards. We were then escorted on one of the 5 elevators to our 4th floor #426. The good sized, wood floor room had a queen (mattress was badly cratered on my side) with 1 nightstand, desk with chair, shelved closet with older refer below, wall TV(no English), old wall-installed noisy AC, and a fully outfitted bathroom with a slippery tub shower. The next morning, we asked to change rooms and were conveniently transferred to our desired Superior; a larger #809 with a comfortable king, 2 nightstands, new quieter wall-installed AC, a slippery Jacuzzi tub shower, and fine city view to the bridge and Resistencia beyond. We used the outstanding 1st floor pool(weight room nearby), had good secure wifi, and a nice 6:30 AM breakfast buffet; OJ, large fresh fruit display, yogurt, cereal, breads, cheese, ham, huge magdalena spread, and coffee with hot milk. This hotel was chosen for its location between the 2 main plazas with access to 3 museums, churches and pedestrian zone. While the hotel rooms are in need of quiet modern AC units, new refers, some new mattresses, and new wallpaper/paint, the hotel has a great location, and in our opinion, is a very good value.

Good hotel, value for money

Average size and normal equipped room for a city hotel. Aircondition worked well and quietly. Beds comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff, good parking 100 meters away in a guarded building. Quality of breakfeast significantly better than average. Good value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

Corrientes is a tough town to get a late lunch in. Most restaurants close by 1:30 or 2 and don't open again until 8 PM. We stepped into the a little after 2 and were greeted by Damian our waiter who was great! He had terrific suggestions was attentive but not overwhelming.
