My husband & I stayed one night with our small dog. I was nervous as had read some negative reviews but thought we’d chance it as have had mostly good experiences with Red Roof in the past. We had a Superior King room on the first floor. Everything was spotlessly clean, everything worked, the staff was friendly & efficient & the breakfast was good. We had a short drive to a good restaurant & many other businesses like Sam’s Club we’re close by. We will definitely stay here again.

Terrible experience

First we were extremely over charged. I’m talking $725 for 3 nights at this place. Then to find out there were roaches, dirty towels, the elevator quit working one day, our key cards quit working the same day and the halls smell like a mixture of cat pee and wet dog. Our kids also refused to swim in the pool because it was so dirty.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our baseball team booked 3 nights for a tournament. Due to the College World Series, rates were raised to over $250 a night from their normal rates. The first night one of our families had cockroaches in their room. They ended up leaving and staying with family. By the end of the weekend, over half of our team had roaches in their rooms. The hallway smelled like urine and it was drifting into the rooms. We complained and housekeeping put down carpet deodorizer, but it did little to help. I picked up on the conversation from staff that this has been a problem. We were finally told that they would reduce our rooms to their normal rate of $75, but our bills were still messed up this morning upon checkout. We kept being told by staff that management was unavailable. I cannot believe that management had been aware for 3 days that there was problems and we were all complaining, and they were not available this morning to take care of the problems and left their staff to deal with it. I have managed hotels in the past, and there is a serious management/ownership issue. I would not stay here again even if my room was free.

First of all I want to say that my husband booked this hotel for us to have an evening to ourselves for our Anniversary. So I was pretty stoked about it. When we arrived it seemed like a decent place. When we walked it we could immediately here children running down the halls yelling and screaming. We just assumed that maybe there was a child's Birthday party or something so it shouldn't be a big deal because it would eventually end. When we checked in we even mentioned something about it to the lady behind the desk and she also stated it was probably a birthday party goung on. We then made our way to our room and at first glance it seemed ok. We did our routine flashlight check of the mattress and couches looking for any evidence of bugs. We were please to find nothing! So we settled in for the evening. We decided to fill the whirlpool tub and get in. We noticed right away that the faucet leaked at the base of the spout. After we got in we also found that the cover for the overflow was barely hanging on and when we turned it on we also found that the cover for one of the air intakes was missing so it was very loud. And after we got out we noticed water pushing up between the floor tiles. After all of that we settled in to bed to enjoy some quiet time and by that time it was around 11pm and we could still hear children running the halls and hitting the walls. And in the room above us there was constant running and jumping. We talked about going somewhere else but figured with it being so late and Mothers Day weekend as well there would be little chance of finding a decent room anywhere close. So we just decided to deal with it. In the morning when we checked out I spoke to the person at the front desk about our experience and even showed her pictures, she offered her apologies that was all she offered. I was disappointed that she didn't even offer to discount our room or anything at all! After all we spent $160 on this room and got little to no sleep and absolutely no peace and quiet! So if you are looking for a nice room that is even remotely maintained and any peace and quiet this is definitely not your place!!!!

Overpriced and overhyped

Overpriced and overhyped, the Wi-Fi was EXTREMELY slow, our rooms were very noisy( slamming doors, dogs barking, yelling) the entire building smells like an animal barn, Sporadic room service, and the breakfast, I didn't bother trying it. But if I had to take a guess it is probably terrible too. I highly do not recommend it.
