We left another nearby hotel because it was too dirty to stay!! So fortunate to find this hotel even closer to our event. The room smelled so clean when we walked in the door! We were SO happy at the improvement for only $20/night more. Worth every penny!!!

Tiny full sized beds, uncomfortable mattresses. Was offered a blanket to sleep on the floor as a solution to cramming two adults into full sized beds. Bath tub had weird worn non slip paint in the bottom. Nice refrigerator in the room. Property does not look like the pictures online.

Came to stay for three days for business and ended up being a week. The stay was nice, room comfortable, clean, and accessible to many amenities in town. Staff not very friendly in the evening. But overall would recommend it.

The location is great for places to go but don’t stay here. Someone broke into our car. We parked in a well lit area and they still broke in. They have a guard that goes out at 11pm. Funny our car was broken in before that time…suspicious. Over thanksgiving another person had their car broken into. They were parked in the garage. No place is safe at this hotel. Stay away!
GO ELSEWHERE!!! This place is a dump!

Unannounced construction and a run-down property. As a Hilton Diamond rewards member, I book Doubletree Hotels all the time without even looking at reviews. But this one? I have never in all my years entered a hotel so failing in common hospitality tenets. I had no forewarning of construction ongoing at the property which necessitated me walking through a hardhat area to get to the elevators. OSHA would have issued many violations as I had to walk around people working on ladders to get to the elevator. The gym was closed, as was the bar. But they relocated the "bar" to the hotel lobby with a catering setup. Not what I signed up for. At 5:41 AM, I was awakened by the unmistakable sound of a hammer drill, followed by the sound of manual hammers. It only lasted long enough to awaken me. But then at 6:00 it started again. I called the front desk, and was told that I was too many floors away from the construction to hear it. Really? So I was imagining something that was really happening? So I got up and went down for breakfast, and walked into an empty restaurant. After a couple minutes I got my own coffee and sat down to await a server. After ten minutes I walked back into the kitchen area and found two servers sitting and chatting. At my request, one came and took my order with zero personality. I tipped accordingly. On checking out, I asked to speak to the manager, who (of course) was not in. I left my contact information and requested a call. 35 hours later, and I have heard nothing. I called again an hour ago, and asked to speak to the manager. I was transferred to a line that I allowed to ring 40 times before I hung up and called back. On my second call, I again left my name and number. We'll see how this works out. I will be complaining, also, to corporate.
