NO SHUTTLE, SOMEONE ENTERED OUR UNATTENDED ROOM, NO MGT RESPONSE

Horrible service. Dialed the hotel for 1 hour from the airport on 2 cell phones for pickup. No one ever answered said mailbox full. Took a taxi for $25 out of pocket . Front desk girl said she was by herself and cant answer the phone. Then left for dinner at 5 and someone entered our room and left a half cup of coffee and an unflushed toilet..Yuk. Contacted front desk and said no manager was available. Same story following day. Called back several times around luntime for a week no one ever answered the phone at the front desk. Oh our flight arrived at 2pm on a sunny day and no one was available to answer the phone or a shuttle ride. But someone was available to enter our room when we left for dinner. After numerous attempts to contact management by email no repsone I filed a case study with marriott home office. If you note the reviews on the hotels website they have 177 horrible reviews. I never did get a survey from them so cant complain there. If you read the other tripadvisor reviews there are a lot with my scenario in it not a one time situation. Fortunately for me I cant add all the bedbug complaints for the past two months. Stay away from this one

We booked this property because I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and we were seeking a hotel near the FLL airport where we could also leave our car parked for several weeks. This property seemed perfect based on location and also because we could stay before and after our international flights (early departure and late arrival). The room were we assigned on the return trip (137) was terribly noisy and had absolutely no view - the view was a fence with vegetation on it and garbage cans. When we arrived we first noticed that the fan on the A/C could not be adjusted. It was noisy and blowing gale-force winds. We found a button that was missing and pressed down on the lights to turn off the A/C for the duration of our stay. Then we heard gurgling sounds coming from the bathroom - more specifically the toilet - and every time a toilet was flushed on the floors above we would hear the swooshing sounds. The gurgling continued all night and even with the bathroom door closed it was annoying. To add insult to injury, at 4:30 in the morning we were awakened to the sound of a screaming child; every time we heard a man's voice the screaming increased. What a horrible night we had.

Habitaciones supremamente sucias/ Supremely dirty rooms

El servicio pésimo, las habitaciones sumamente sucias, los detectores de humo bloqueados para que la gente pueda fumar en las habitaciones, colillas de cigarrillos en la cama y obviamente el olor a cigarrillo. Y los encargados en el mostrador molestos por la observación. Las sábanas estaban sucias y cuando llamamos nos dijeron que teníamos que hacer la cama y nos dieron las sábanas para que las cambiáramos nosotros mismos. Viajamos con dos niñas que mala experiencia pasar por este hotel aunque al final nos cambiaron de habitación no volvería ni recomendaría este hotel. Terrible imagen la que proyectan de Marriot. Terrible service, extremely dirty rooms, blocked smoke detectors so people can smoke in the rooms, cigarette butts on the bed and obviously the smell of cigarettes. And the managers at the counter annoyed by the observation. The sheets were dirty and when we called they told us we had to make the bed and gave us the sheets to change ourselves. We traveled with two girls who had a bad experience going through this hotel, although in the end they changed our room, I would not return or recommend this hotel. Terrible image that they project from Marriot.

Bedbug Wake Up Call

Woke up to a bug crawling on me, come to find out it was bedbugs. Smacked it with the covering sheet and there was nothing but a blood spot. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone or come to look at the issue while at the hotel. I spoke to the manager as I was leaving and he refunded the stay. I would give a zero if that was allowed. I came home with bites all over my right arm and hand. Called Marriott Corporate office after I found out for sure it was bedbug bites and was placed on hold for more than forty five minutes and finally the phone rang and it was the hotel front desk they told me the managers would not be back until 9:30 am. The front desk didn’t bother to take my information. Just gave me the aforementioned spiel about management not being available. By the way the corporate representative never came back on the line or advised she was switching me to the hotel. I travel all the time and this is the first time I have encountered bedbugs. You stay at Marriott thinking you won’t have to deal with this type of issue my mistake trusting the brand. Now as a preventative measure I have to have my home treated. I would not stay here.

Shoddy to Nonexistent Housekeeping

If you like clean towels and having your bed made, don't stay here. Housekeeping department will promise and not deliver. Get your own towels, your own shampoo, and make your own bed - don't forget to take out the trash while you're at it. Not worth the room rate, shoulda stayed home.
