We stayed at this hotel for the first time in October 2020. It has been a family favorite ever since! The hotel is clean and modern, staff is friendly and the amenities are endless. Our favorite part is the pool for our 5 year old. Perfect set up for kids as they can play forever on the “jungle-gym” set up with a slide to boot! Parents can relax in the pool knowing their children are safe in less than ankle deep water. Complimentary breakfast is delicious and even during the height of the pandemic they were still offering bagged breakfast with yummy sandwiches. Elevators are “locked” in a sense you can only access the floor you’re staying on. Helps you to feel safe and secure. The hotel is also tucked away on a quiet road but less than 2 minutes drive to Dartmouth Crossing. We’ve stayed 4 or 5 times since our first time and we can’t wait to return in March! My 5 year old can’t wait to swim at her fav spot!

Location: A little bit off the beaten track in Dartmouth but still within a five minute drive of Dartmouth Crossing. Plenty of free parking. Check-in: We had been told the staff loved cats and would be very excited about us bringing cats. The person working did not even acknowledge that we had our cats with us. She did her job but that was is. Room: The room was very nice and spacious with a sofa in addition to the usuals. It was clean. Wifi: The complimentary wifi was adequate. Breakfast: They had hot breakfast sandwiches, yoghurt, cereals, fruit and juices. It was adequate given the pandemic. Overall: It is a nice hotel but the staff was not as nice as the hotel.

This is the first time we stayed to this hotel. We travelled with family with kids age 3, 7, 10 and 12. The pool area is amazing, warm clean and great for the 3 year old. We was worried the 12 year old would be too old as the waterslide is small but he had a blast also. This is the first hotel that the pool was warm. The room were big and clean. Could have had sanitizer on the elevator but no biggie. For some reason floors 2/3 were blocked off which would have been great to know why, for piece of mind. We will definitely be back

Fire alarm during night

Hotel is new, modern. Check in was fine, reserved a late pool time, wasn’t busy however we did find it very chlorine smell to the point my eyes were hurting. Kids play area is a nice touch, but small pool and no hot tub. Close to midnight the fire alarm started going off, we exited the building and waiting in our car for the better part of an hour. Although most people did not, Upon the fire trucks leaving we went and asked front desk what’s going on. They said “ false alarm” you can go back to your room. 20 minutes later the alarm went off again, we phoned down and they claimed to be working on the system (12:30am). We checked out in the morning and they provided a simple apology. Needless to say it was inconvenient enough that we simply will not return to this establishment.

New hotel but a few issues to work on

Stayed here because it was a new hotel and close to the shopping area we were going to. Overall it is a very nice, new hotel but definitely some kinks. There was an issue with the heat. Freezing without the heat and when you put it in it got really hot. As soon as it shut off it got cold very quickly so maybe an air conditioning vent or something left open. Bathroom was very cold as there’s not much heat getting in the door. Only thing worse than that was having to get out of the shower shortly after getting in, go on the freezing floor to get a bar of soap because there was not a drop in the wall dispenser! Shampoo and conditioner but not a bit of body soap. Nice breakfast area, friendly staff but due to the cold and heat extremes probably won’t go back.
