Great service. CLEAN! Nice pool. Breakfast was back to (near) normal!. We have been to Deadwood many times. We have tried many other locations over the years but when we can get in, we go HERE.
Will continue to go back.

Perfectly located in Deadwood, in the middle of it all. Room was spacious and clean, beds comfy, breakfast nice. Hot tub and pool were great to relax in in the evenings. We had a great time here and would stay here again!
In the middle of everything and Comfort!

Hotel OK but parking is terrible and don't stay here if you're handicapped!

While the rooms are clean, don't expect any handicapped accommodations in the parking or the building itself, or even customer assistance with a mobility handicapped guest.
I would never go back to this hotel if for no other reason than the parking problems. I was traveling with my sister who is handicapped with mobility issues, and when we checked in I was told their lot was full and I could park in the public parking garage a couple of blocks away. I asked if there was handicapped parking in their lot as my sister is handicapped and was told no there wasn't and they didn't think there was any at the public parking lot either, but I could park in a metered street parking spot and wouldn't have to pay the meter with a handicap permit, which was a couple of blocks away, an easy walk. I said, yes it's easy if you're not handicapped, to which the reply was, well you can drop her off and then park. No kidding. So there we were parked in front of the lobby doors, which by the way are not automatic or have any handicapped opening option, and my sister and I are struggling with our bags on the very old and difficult to maneuver luggage cart, trying to get it in the two non-automatic doors and not one of the two women looking at us from the front desk offered to help us or get someone else to help us get our luggage in and up to the room. Honestly, that should have been something offered as soon as I said I was traveling with someone who was handicapped.
So after a difficult struggle with my handicapped sister and the luggage I did check out the public parking garage and didn't see handicapped parking though it probably wouldn't have mattered as it was jammed packed and had very narrow spaces. There was no way I'd park my car there. It probably took me at least an hour to check in, find street parking and get back to the hotel.
The room itself was very clean. That was the best thing I can say about this place. While most other hotels are back to serving hot breakfast, this one only has cold grab and go breakfast bags. I stayed at another hotel chain during the height of the pandemic and they still served hot breakfast, just had staff serve it up in a to go container and you brought it back to your room. I feel like this hotel just couldn't even make any extra effort whatsoever. I was really underwhelmed with the customer service.
Great Location in Downtown Deadwood

After unloading the car and moving it to their designated lot, we enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was ok with pancakes and some hot dishes. In order to use the pool, you had to make a reservation for an hour use. If staying here, I would call to check and see if they are still doing that and choosing a time before your arrival if allowed to do that. We had a renovated room that was nice.
