Very nice hotel
Situated in a quiet street close to the city center. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Our bed was extra large and very comfy. The shower isn’t very firm, but ok. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good location - but avoid the ground floor rooms
The hotel is located just outside the city center and can easily be reached by car. The hotel have spaces you can use for a fee in a parking garage nearby. The receptionist was very welcoming and we could check in at once - even though we arrived quite early. Our room was on the ground floor and not a room I would recommend. It had windows towards a garden. It was nice and quiet, but when the window is so low on the wall that passers by easily can put their head through the opening it’s not really my cup of tea. What was worse was that the staff had wardrobes (probably for towells and bed linens) just outside our door, and they keps slamming the doors ever so often. The bathroom was large and clean, but the shower was directly on the floor and had no wall or curtain - just a mop hanging on the wall so you could deal with the water after showering. Why there is not a wall between the shower and the sink beats me. It certainly is not because the room are meant for disabled persons because the space between the bed and the bathroom door is not very large. The bed however was comfortable, the TV had an adequat selection of channels and there was coffe/tea facilities,
Not recommended for business travel
I am writinf from a breakfast room innthe hotel vefore departure. Night experience still fresh, so you will get first hand impressions. we came late yesterday, after midnight. reception was closed and when we asked, where can we park, we were told on the phone, they are not sure, if we have garage. Garage can not be arranged, so we got recommendation to park on the street by the park as it's free during night and morning hours. Our colleague had our keys, unfortunately one of our colleagues wrong key has been given and in his room another person was sleeping already. I came into a cold room, it's winter now so was not too much fun and I had to figure out how to turn on heating. Room was nothing special, with a bath that was special. If You look kindly at the picture, towels did not look too fresh and one of the big towels had two black smears on it, so this told me, they were not fresh. Also one fun part, the toilet paper holder was so close to the toilet, that also a medium size person could not sit on without touching the toilet paper holder. Breakfast very unsatisfactory, butter was (I am on me to diet) only served, not packed and was not available for all, all the time. So avoid if possible, if You are as me and my colleagues after a full day in work and several thousand km travel. I have stayed in room 25, night from 5th to 6th of Feb 2019.
Wonderful stay
Stayed here on a business trip in November. Room was very clean, staff was fun and very helpful for restaurant suggestions and sight-seeing, and dinner was amazing. It is a walking distance to the center of town, which we walked to every day.
Recommended
Staff was very friendly and experienced. We were well informed about everything. They have a parking space minutes walking distance from hotel although it costs an extra 13 euro per day. Room was clean and breakfast good. The monastery garden is gorgeous. Location isn't 10 minute walk from city center.
