Dissapointed guest

I cant make a good comment even i want to... Because starting from the guest entrance you will not feel that your welcome imagine we are the one who push our own luggages. Next frontdesk very unprofessional How to talk ... And when we came to our room... Shooocccccckkkkk.... the bed no beddings ... Floor sticky. and knowing it was pandemic now when i open all drawers still have tissues and used mask ... I cant imagine... I feel im not safe with virus... And in the bathroom still have hairs and empty caps of shampoo ... its up to you if you will book in this hotel sorry for the word but it was very disgusting .. Horrible... Thank god the housekeeping staff was very responsive and polite..

Stay Away - Rude Staff

Reviewed 30 march, 2019

I had gone in person to the hotel a month before my stay to make a booking. My booking for 16 days was confirmed by the receptionist. One the day of check-in, the receptionist said the hotel was full. He was rude and not even courteous enough to give an option or find an alternative. Booking.com still showed that the hotel still had 2 rooms left. I will never go here again. Unfriendly staff, not organized. Don't care about customers or hospitality. Shame!

Stay away

Reviewed 11 july, 2018

My room wasn't ready so they upgraded me to a suite for one night, and told me I had to move out the next day. It was a terrible suite! I think someone slaughtered livestock in the kitchen because there were what looked like blood stains everywhere. I guess it made the mold seem okay compared to the burned, frayed, and heavily stained carpet. I told myself to hang on and hope for a better room tomorrow. Yes, the new room was better, only because there were no blood stains. All the other gross things were in this room too. I went downstairs and told them I am checking out in the morning. I went online and it took two hours to get another hotel because the internet was so bad. Stay away!

Good hotel, not that central

Reviewed 6 march, 2017

I booked this hotel for a 27 hour layover in Doha between flights. It was certainly good value and taking an Uber from the airport not only took about 20 minutes, but was also not that expensive (I was pretty early in the morning though so barely any traffic). Check in is 2pm, but I arrived at about 6am. Expecting to be told to come back at 2 like a lot of hotels do, they offered to give me access to my room for half the price of what the room cost (in my case £20). This was well worth it as the alternative of wandering the streets of Doha in the rain didn't seem that appealing. The room was nice and comfortable and also had a pretty good temperature control. The TV has a smattering of Arabic and foreign channels, including some English and a Polish channel too. The bathroom was a good size and had a good walk in shower. The room was in need of a little makeover, but was by no means run down. I found the noise form other rooms and the corridor to be a bit loud sometimes, but this was down to other guests. There is some work going on in the hotel, but nothing intrusive, mainly light fixtures in corridors, no heavy drilling was done during my stay anyway. The rooftop pool is cold, but is big enough to do some lengths in. There are showers there too as well as some sun loungers but not much else. I get the feeling this had been a bit neglected over the winter as the tiles around the pool were filthy. There is a lso a pretty well stocked gym. The staff were nice enough, helping out with bags and offering advice about the local area. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the main city area (Souq Waqif). The walk takes over 30 minutes so if a centrally located hotel is what you're needing, this isn't it. An Uber to the centre wouldn't be that much, although the traffic at certain times may be a hindrance. There isn't a great deal around the hotel as it's a pretty residential area. Having said that, it does mean it is a quiet area too, so night time noise is pretty low.
