Ants and leftover food particles around the phone. Ladybugs all over the ceiling. Leaky toilet and water all over the floor. No staff present at the check-in desk meaning looooong wait for service. On a positive note, I didn't spot any roaches or bed bugs and the sheets were clean.
Great stay during Kings Dominion trip

Stayed at this hotel while making a weekend trip to Kings Dominion. The hotel was very accommodating and flexible. The rooms were nice and clean and we didn’t have any problems. The manager, Dave, was also very friendly. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Never will stay here again

Have a very bad ant problem ants all in the bed. Felt so uncomfortable had to shake all my items. There was no one at the front desk to let know about the ants and how uncomfortable my stay was. I can never stay at this location again and that's upsetting because the hotel is right across from the park, we visited
Horrible and Illegal conditions

Since no staff member was wearing a name tag or uniform, I don’t have a name to give but she was the one on duty around 4:30 aug 5. She sat in the office and ignored me for 10 or 15min of ringing buzzer, waiting, knocking on door, waiting and finally I called and the second ring she walked out the other door to the office behind the desk and asked for my name in a pissed off tone like I had bothered her. After finding my reservation and checking my ID, she asked if I had any dogs. My Service Dog (SD) was laying next to my baggage on the floor in front of her clearly vested and marked. I told her I had my SD (and pointed to him). Then she asked for his ID. I explained to her that SDs don’t have ID. It’s against the law to ask for it. Since there was plastic between us, I told her if she didn’t believe me she could go to google and type in ada faq hotel and she would see what she was legally allowed to do. She ignored me and insisted that other people gave ID and I needed to too. I looked it up on my phone and showed her through the glass. She said ok but putting dog on my my room bi insisted she couldn’t charge me for him. She claimed she wasn’t. By the time we were done and I had my key,2 other guests were waiting and I had been there about 25min. I’m physically disabled and cannot stand long periods of time without severe pain. I also have ptsd so being surrounded by people because an employee is too lazy to do their job of answering the desk and then have to argue about laws that she should be educated on is infuriating. I spent 2hrs recuperating on the bed. When I got up to turn the ac down, in my socks, I was shocked to find them instantly soaked by the sopping wet carpet. I was 5ft from the window and ac unit. After turning ac down, I tried to call the front desk. No dial tone. It had a Ethernet cord but no power cord! I didn’t have the strength to go wait for and argue with the front desk lady so I waited till morning. Same lady checked me out. When I informed her of the water, all she said was thanks for letting us know. A man walked out of the office as I was explaining about the soaking carpet and he added that they had a hard rain last week so it wasn’t a surprise. Last week! So no maid or guest notice a soaking wet carpet from half way around the bed to the wal from wall to wall?! It was bubbling from the floor and smacking wet sounds when I adjusted the temp later that night with shoes on. Impossible not to notice.
