Enjoyed our stay. The room and whole hotel was very clean. Jon at the front desk was great and very accommodating. We loved the indoor/outdoor pool. We will definitely stay here next time we're down visiting family.

Traveled from Columbus to visit family close to the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The living room with a fridge, microwave and extra tv made traveling as a family of 4 great.
The rooms and hotel were very clean, kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the bar.
Ale the General Manager found out we were also celebrating a birthday and sent up a very nice amenity of cookies and milk for our little ones. She was great to talk to as was everyone we encountered.
We will definitely stay here again on our next family visit.

When we recently stayed at this hotel we weren't overly impressed and were surprised to see guests in the lobby with no face masks on. Our bathroom waste basket wasn't emptied when we got there, and we really missed having waters in the rooms, no pens or paper, and no restaurant food during the week. I was also surprised that there was no magnifying mirror in the bathroom and the bathroom mirror that was there was chipped and looked very old. It was clean, but Covid has made hotels stays not very much fun that is for sure.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel during December for one night, during our visit to the Chicago area.
We had an executive Suite room. The price was nice, we found a deal on Expedia. The suite was very comfortable. The only thing missing was a room safe. I would recommend this hotel to others.
dishonest policy about Internet charges

I recently stayed at your property from 12/21-12/22. You tried to incorrectly charge me an Internet charge and would not refund my money. You clearly state that Marriott Bonvoy account holders get free basic Internet access.
When I logged on to the Internet, I entered my username and password for my account to get free Internet access AS WAS ADVERTISED. When I went to check out, the property charged me the Internet fee. What ensued was embarrassing and humiliating.
First, the registration clerk was hesitant to give us a hardcopy of the bill. When she did provide this, I noticed they had charged us for the Internet. Second, they refused at first to refund the charge. They explained that since the reservation was made through Hotels.com, that I was not eligible for free Internet. I explained that I had followed the instructions on the login page to get access, and it CLEARLY STATED free Internet if you were a member. She said that didn't apply to this hotel and gave me some nonsense about not enough points, etc. Third, after continuing to complain, she eventually agreed to refund the money. But since I paid the balance in cash, she didn't know how to do a cash refund. She said she had to get a manager. Fourth, after we waited 20 minutes, yes 20 minutes, for the manager, the manager agreed to fix the charge, but didn't understand we needed a cash refund. More confusion ensued.
So I spent easily over 45 minutes trying to get this charge refunded. Unbelievable!!!!
You need to stop this false advertising about free Internet to member of your Marriott cub. You need to do a much better job of customer service.
