The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean, comfortable and nice. It was easy to walk about the downtown area. I highly recommend this facility. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
Satisfactory 2-night stay

I had a decent stay at this hotel. The main thing it has going for it is location -- it is quite central and walking distance to any attractions, including the bustling Granville St. However, this also means that it can get a bit noisy at night, especially on weekends. As for my room, I could tell that it had been a smoking room at some stage. While it had obviously been treated, it's almost impossible to completely get rid of the smell, which I detected. The room lacked a microwave and safe and had an odd configuration where the toilet and shower were on one side of the room and the sink was on the other -- I don't know if all the rooms are designed like that. The parking free was reasonable (especially for a downtown hotel) and there were a set of spots near the elevator reserved for IHG Reward members -- which was a nice touch.

The customer service at this location is good. That being said we couldn’t schedule a room cleaning if our life depended on it. Of course, the same old covid excuse was to blame. The rooms are small and services are extremely lacking. I do not write reviews unless they need to be wrote. We couldn’t find a microwave to warm food anywhere. The staff were kind enough to warm our food in their break room for us which they shouldn’t have to do. I stay at holiday inns all over Canada and usually love them.(I think I am east to please) that being said we will not be back to this location. Also as stated before there is a huge homeless problem in the area which is unfortunate but not a very nice place for a family
Friendly staff that goes above and beyond

This is hands down my favorite hotel in Vancouver. The location is amazing, located in the heart of downtown. What really stand out to me is how friendly, service oriented, and accommodating the hotel stuff are. Everyone I interacted with made every effort to ensure my stay is enjoyable. Upon check in, Liz was able to provide all the details needed and worked with me to sort out the multiple reservations I had. Since I booked my stay using free nights and points, the reservations were somewhat complicated and I really appreciated her going above and beyond! I also interacted with Dennis during my stay, who answered my questions about tourist spots and places to go. He’s clearly experienced with the hotel and I love that. Finally, I’m extremely happy that the restaurant finally reopened. Jessie cooked me a tasty breakfast and was quick to recommend menu items, all of which very reasonable in price. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting vancouver!
Old and tired

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very central. I’ve stayed here several times over last few years. It’s seriously time for a complete Reno. Outdated and very tired. Will not stay here again until it’s re-done completely.
