This downtown hotel sits at just a 10-minute walk from the Robson Street shopping area, one of the most exclusive and expensive shopping streets in the world. The perfect location of the venue allows its guests to reach pretty much any location in the West End of Vancouver and the downtown area within minutes. They will be just across the stress from St. Paul's Hospital and at 600 metres from the Davie Village area, famous for its excellent dining options and festivals throughout the year. The hotel itself offers a modern accommodation that is ideal for relaxing after an exciting day. The beau...More details

This was our second stay here. We chose it the first time as it's right across the street from St. Paul's Hospital. When we had to go back for doctor's follow up's I checked on the map and found out the hotel was in walking distant to their office. It was a no brainer to stay at The Burrard again. Very reasonable price plus it has parking. Our room was very clean and has everything you would want, small fridge and vault to store you valuables if you need, There's a courtyard for you to sit out and enjoy as well. The Front staff are very friendly. Walking distance to many attractions. I WOULD recommend staying here!!
DO NOT STAY HERE

I stayed at this hotel for one night in August of 2021 and would NOT recommend anyone book this hotel if you want to ensure your belongings will be safe inside your room. I am a server and carry lots of cash on me and normally leave most of my cash in the safe in my hotel room to ensure that the money will stay safe while I am away from the room, as is assumed with a hotel safe that the money stays "Safe". We had checked out of the hotel and upon realizing we left our belongings in the safe called the hotel to let them know what happened and returned to the hotel immediately. Upon returning to retrieve my $1,700 cash from the safe where I had left it I found the safe empty and the lock removed by the maintenance manager. The maintenance manager claimed that the safe was "empty" and there was no cash in the locked safe when he removed the lock with 0 witnesses. The hotel claims they launched an internal investigation to determine what happened in this situation however absolutely nothing was done about this, the money was never returned, and the hotel would not even refund our parking charges. Considering that it was cash that went missing there is little legal action that can be taken therefore I would not recommend staying at this hotel since I feel the staff at this hotel cannot be trusted to have access to locked hotel rooms with guest belongings and will not be honest when faced with situations like these and leave clients like myself helpless to do anything about it. There was another review from 2019 with a very similar theft situation in which the hotel also did nothing and again claimed they did an "internal investigation". This poses the question in my mind about the integrity of the Burrard hotel staff, and because of these reasons I would caution anyone against booking with this hotel especially if you value your property.
Fun place to stay, I will be back again!

This was the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at. Loved the retro feel of the place. My room overlooked the courtyard and filtered out a lot of the sounds from the street below. The room was super comfy and I could chromecast Netflix to the tv after a busy day. They also provided bikes free for hire! Had a blast touring around the city for a day. They also provided umbrellas when it rained! 10/10
Stay in Downtown Vancouver

When I was looking for a hotel in Vancouver, I was trying to find something that doesn’t cost a fortune and will be in walking distance to downtown attractions. The Burrard had a promotion that included parking, and it was what we needed. The hotel is very nice and bright. They used unusual colours for a hotel. But it looked really great and created a festive mood. The hotel has an inner courtyard. Very beautiful. The hotel also had a complimentary bike rental. The room is basic with a very small fridge, but the bathroom is new, with modern fixtures that I have not seen in any other hotels and a lot of fixtures to hang towels. Very clean. There is a hospital across from hotel, but the area around is not very clean and a lot of homeless people around. But it is downtown and it was expected. There are lot of places to eat around. Overall, I had a very good impression and will recommend it.
A cute hotel but….

The Burrard was in a good location downtown Vancouver but the area is starting to get a little bit sketchy with the increase of homelessness and drug activity. The room itself was small but very clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and polite. Parking would be fine if your in a small car but parking anything else is a nightmare. This was a pet friendly hotel but taking your pet for bathroom breaks is difficult as there is no where but the streets. Overall I would stay here again if it was a little cheaper but for the price I would look elsewhere.
