The rooms are simple but have what you need. There are stairs which was difficult because we also had bikes and the promised 'cellar' was difficult to access also. The location is in the Neudstadt area across the river from the main station, although there is a station here too we realised later. As we had bikes, we found this location perfect for us as the Elbe bike track goes right through here and there is an excellent bike path from here into the main part of town to the main sights. There is a terrific biergarten at the Watzke brewery around the corner where we ate 2 nights - good food and beer - right on the river. Aldi is a few blocks away and there is a bakery and a laundromat close by. My only negative is that the checking in process left something to be desired - the young man who seemed to be running things was great but occasionally he wasn't available and it was a hassle having to contact him to set up a time to meet to be let in. This didn't always work smoothly (we stayed on 2 separate occasions so we had 2 check-ins).

Cheap, clean and plenty of space

Price is good, room was clean and more than adequate in size to accommodate our family. Contact to staff and breakfest buffet is minimal. Area is quite and both Neustadt and Altstadt are accesible by a 5 min. tram ride.

Stayed 2nts at Dresden, we stayed here for one night because Ibis was full for the first night. Well, it was a little difficult to find the way at first, but once you do, it's wonderful place to stay. Only a few stops away from new town by tram#9 ( this one also takes you to the train station from this hotel), very clean, and cosy. If you made a reservation already, it's better to email to the hotel, telling them your ETA. Because i dont think they always stay there.

Malý příjemný penzion

Rodinný penzion s pár pokoji. Pokojíček v prvním patře byl malý, ale pro ubytování na jednu či dvě noci dostačující. Pan majitel velmi příjemný. Snídaně dobrá. Výhodou je, že tramvajová zastávka je jen pár minut od penzionu a do centra Drážďan jen pár zastávek. V penzionu není majitel přítomen, po příjezdu musíte volat na uvedené číslo a dostanete pokyny, jak postupovat. Parkování je v ulicích kolem, my jsme v pohodě zaparkovali hned před penzionem, ale nemusí se to povést vždy.

Приехали мы рано, долго звонили в дверь центрального офиса этого пансиона. Уж думали, нет никого. Ан нет, наконец-то открыл нам дверь смешной и странноватый молодой человек плохо говорящий по-английски (ну мы тоже не полиглоты)))), сказал, что квартира наша еще не убрана, но мы можем оставить пока там вещи. И отвел нас через три дома в очень просторную квартиру на первом этаже. Высокие потолки, раздельные туалет и ванна (что редкость для Европы), три комнаты, очень хороший вай-фай, все есть. Полностью оборудованная квартира. И что самое главное, большая парковка около дома!
