I had great expectations from Atlantis but it fell short. We were greeted well at the main gate. Check-in process took about 10 mins and i had to stand at the lobby counter through out. I was not offered any welcome drink despite the fact that it was sweltering hot outside. Not even water. One would assume better and more comfortable check-in at a grand hotel like this. I frequently stay at the Oberoi hotels and they have never had me check-in in a queue. They either ask the guests to take a seat in the lounge where the staff comes or they take the guest to the room where check-in is done. Likewise, when entering the aquaventure park from the hotel, there was only one person giving away the bands. The guest before me had some issue in the booking and i kept waiting for over 15 minutes only to get the entry bands. The rooms are very beautiful and quite large in size. The rooms are comfortable and have almost all amenities that a five star hotel offers. However, usually i have seen either a fruit (or fruit basket) or some cookies or both in the rooms of 5 star hotels but these were missing at the Atlantis. Almost all the staff was very nice and courteous. There were 4/5 types of coffee pods in the room but no description of the coffees. There was no guidebook in the room as to how the intercom is to be used, so that was confusing. The food at the Saffron was very good and the variety was massive! Like the check-in experience, the check out was also not very pleasant. It took considerable time to being the luggage outside, where we and our taxi were waiting in 45 °C. Water bottles were not offered for the journeys. We saw that some of our bags were being taken elsewhere so we stopped the staff to point it out. Then he again went inside to bring the right luggage. The handle of one of suitcases came off, which we saw at the airport only. It would have been only fair for the bellboy to tell us and say a little sorry; it was no issue at all. In one of our rooms, the bell wouldn't ring coz the battery was low. These are some very small things but one expects these things to be taken care off when staying at such a big hotel

Atlantis The Palms family vacation

Allan, our sever at the pool was fantastic. Overall experience was amazing. Great facilities. Family friendly environment. Lots to do. A tad pricey but well worth it. Really enjoyed the water park. Head there early to avoid the long lines & extreme heat later in the day.

Royal Beach Romantic Dinner

Reviewed 30 june, 2022

Organised a romantic dinner on the beach to propose to my girlfriend and the experience did not disappoint. The walkway down to the romantic seating area was beautifully lit with a proposal message written in stones as we arrived to help pop the question, with a lovely bouquet of flowers. Naveen, Hasitha and Luis were just magnificent, they were so attentive, completely understood the occasion and delivered an unforgettable experience. The 5 course meal was delicious, the steak and lobster was amazing. The evening was signed off with a custom message on a lovely heart cake. Would highly recommend this experience, you will not be disappointed.

What an utterly amazing place!

Couldn't rate this hotel and staff any higher. They provide the highest luxury each and every day and ensure you feel so special on your holiday. The grounds, pools, restaurants, shops, aquarium are 10/10 with not one fault I could list. Wanted to make a special mention to our house keeper Augustine who was the most helpful man. Each day and night he ensured we didn't want for anything and was super helpful and friendly whenever we talked. What a credit he is to the Atlantis staff
