Second time stayed in hotel. This hotel apartment is within easy walking distance to Emirates shopping mall and MRT. The apartment consists of small kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle and washing machine. Cuttlery and crockery is provided for two but no tea towels for wiping up. Hotel initially told us we would have to provide own tea towels but then provided two. Hot water to sink does not work. Management informed but no action taken to fix. Kitchen tiles were dirty and obviously poorly cleaned. The rest of the apartment was reasonaby clean. The apartment also has a lounge room with lounge, table and chairs for eating and a tv. The tv has limited one channel for english movies. There are two toilets but as apartment not serviced no resupply of toilet paper..had to purchase outside. The bedroom is comfortable but a little cramped. We stayed for 6 nights and the apartment was not serviced during that time. I suspect they would not have been serviced if we stayed a month. Breakfast was provided at a reasonable cost but was limited in selection of food. The staff were polite but reception gave impression they didn't really care. Management took no action when advised of hot water problem. The hotel is next to a large building site and on one night a major concrete pour took place making sleep impossible. Building noise was constant but at times worse. The location to emirates mall is a major plus and convenient and reasonably priced.

I stay at room 702. 2 bedroom apartment. My family love it. Mr. Mohamed really took care of us. If you want good price for attraction such as waterpark or desert safari you can ask him. PRO's : 1- Lovely Apartment with fully equip kitchen. 2- All staff really helpful and fast response. 3- In front of the hotel there is small restaurant with The Best Karak Tea at UAE1 only. Good price and good food. Closed 3am and open 7am 4- Newly refurbish Hotel. Look like new. 5- Good WIFI 6- 10 minutes to Mall Of Emirates. Good Location 7- Order food by phone (many choice) and free delivery CON's 1- Many taxi driver didn't know the exact location of this hotel. Told them, Al-barsha 1. Behind Citymax Hotel, Near Time Topaz Hotel Keep the address and the hotel picture.
One Problem after Another!

During a work stay, I resided in this hotel apartment for 2 months simply because it was slightly cheaper than the other hotels available but in hindsight paying a bit more and staying somewhere better would have been the wiser the option. The only good thing about this hotel was the staff. From reception to house keeping and security the people were so friendly and willing to help and the maintenance man became my new best friend due to the number of problems I was having with my room. The hotel is very out-dated in its furnishings and decor and is nothing like the photos shown on the site. The kitchen cupboards were falling off the hinges, the curtain in my bedroom was half hanging off the rail, the cooking utensils and pans were disgusting and need to be replaced. Two of the sockets in my room were not working and had to be fixed, the windows didn't lock so it was lucky I was on the 7th floor! There not enough English speaking channels on the TV even they advertise stating they have satellite and cable channels! Although I booked my room in advance, upon check-in I was told that my room would not be available until the next day and I had to temporarily stay in another room over night. This was extremely inconvenient as I was unable to unpack and settle in and had to wait till midday the following day to move into my own room. Once in my own room, I bought groceries and put them in the fridge only to find the next day that everything in my fridge had frozen solid due to a fault in the temperature gauge. I complained to the management and asked to be reimbursed for all the food and milk that I had to throw out but they refused saying that they had fixed it now and could not give me the money for my ruined groceries. Throughout my stay the fridge kept leaking and freezing on a number of occasions which meant more food that I lost!!! One morning I woke to find water all over the bathroom floor and almost slipped and hurt myself. The water heater had broken down and leaked everywhere. Maintenance were quick to replace it while I was at work but it still continued to leak! The shower curtain also collapsed on me in the shower and needed to be fixed! The hotel apartment was also constantly damp and smelt of mould. As a result, it was very hard to dry clothes not that there was anywhere to dry them as the hotel did not provide a clothes horse and did not have a balcony so I had to resort to hanging them over chairs and on hangers until dry! Due to poor ventilation the room always smelt of food and cooking from other apartments and lingered and was quite unpleasant at times. Getting a good night's sleep was also virtually impossible as the windows would not lock and the hotel was not properly sound proofed and you could hear the constant noises from the construction sites at 6am sometimes earlier! While the hotel gym was small it had all the equipment one would require for a good workout and I made great use of it while staying there. The hotel pool on the other hand was small and the beds were wooden and very uncomfortable as no cushions were provided! Towards the end of my stay the hotel decided to clean the water tanks. They used so much chlorine that for days whenever I had a shower my hair smelt like I had been to the pool and not showered! The hotel does have wifi. You are provided with a voucher for your stay and they were kind enough to give me two, one for my phone and one for my Ipad, From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out it was one problem after another and I would not consider or recommend staying there!

We are regular guests and we really like staying at La Villa Najd. I even celebrated last year late Christmas and NY with them and today I chose celebrating our anniversary there. We usually stay for a night or two but I just wanna share how rude that African lady in the reception was and if there's any word worst than that, that's how she was. She made us feel unwelcome, she made us feel that we're not allowed to raise our complaint because we only stayed there for a night and feel like whatever she want is what we should follow. We will never ever go back there again and I do believe that the African lady should undergo a refresher course for customer service. I'am really disappointed on how that African lady treated us without knowing how she ruined our special day today.
Friendly staff, convenient location

This is a comfortable place if you are on a longer duration stay in Dubai. The location is very convenient and lots of places nearby which you can shop from; right from groceries to Mall of Emirates at 5 minutes walking distance. The rooms are a bit small though. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I did not get a chance to use the services provided as I was looking for a place only to sleep since most of my day was spent outside for work. Bathrooms were clean and beds comfortable.
