My party of 4 had a fantastic half board stay in the Sheldon Park. The beds were comfortable and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant. If you get a chance try out the Spa. it is small but the service is first rate and nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed for 2 nights. Huge family room, very clean and well kept. The staff in the bar / restaurant made our stay though ..special mention to Rachael & Greg. Such great customer service, personal and so friendly. Pool was great too, needs to be heated a little more though.

Stayed for two nights the hotel seems very run down it’s clean but definitely needs some tlc. Food was really nice and the waiting staff where wonderful expect for who I assume was the bar manager he was very rude and needs some training in customer service he lacks the basic skills you need in the hospitality industry. Also when checking out the receptionist wasn’t very pleasant and didn’t ask me about my stay. The hotel has potential if major changes are made.
Visiting our family

Booked this hotel because our nephew made his confirmation and we were supposed to celebrate with him but with phase 4 not going ahead and limited number of people allowed to socialise together, his party was cancelled, but we decided to keep the booking and come down to Dublin anyway, as we haven't seen our family in a very long time. On the Saturday evening we were well looked after. my mother and father in law came to visit us and some of the staff really looked after us, especially Craig, he was absolutely brilliant and made us all feel really welcome (thanks Craig) had a great night. Sunday wasn't so good, we invited other family members over and it was very stressful. 2 of the bar staff were very rude at times and made us feel like we weren't welcome. the young waiter was very professional and very accomadating to us, I'm sorry I didn't get his name. The food was fabulous, our room was spotless so really enjoyed it. We definitely will be back!
