Pleasant hostel experience! I stayed there one night only, and have not spotted any major disadvantages, so my review is going to be super positive.
To start with, their location is one of the best. The main bus station, where airport shuttle bus brings you to, is 7 minutes walking from the hostel; public bus station is right in front of the main entrance. If you are up for walking, in 20 minutes you'll reach the Old City, in 30 minutes you'll find Sunset beach in Babin Kuk area. There are small grocery stores right downstairs, and a big supermarket 5 minutes away, as well as few bars and restaurants.
Administrator Sanja is a super welcoming, and willing to assist her guests. She didn't just offer me any bed according to my booking, but checked all options available so that to offer me the best one.
Together with bed the hostel is providing free bed sheets, towel, quite a spacious wardrobe with lock. Every room has balcony with lovely view, air conditioner, mirror and nightstand, few power sockets next to each bed. Accommodation is mixed, no only girls/guys rooms. Common area is relatively small, however I didn't notice a crowd there.
There 2 separate lady shower rooms, toilets, ans sinks, likewise for guys. Hot water is 24/7. Free washing machine for guests disposal. Kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, small stove, plenty of kitchenware and cutlery, and sink with hot water, but be prepared to see rather tiny space. Spacious balcony with splendid sea view, sunbeds, dining tables, and terrace furniture compensates that though.
Environment inside was very quite and peaceful, no curfew time, night time guard is present in the hostel.

My sister and I started our travels here, we got a transfer with the owners Dad who was lovely and friendly. The hostel were very accommodating and placed in a Great location. It had an ATM, restaurant, shop and bus stop all within 30 seconds.
We decided to walk to the old town which was all uphill I’d recommend bus up walk down!!
Side note never been to a hostel with such a great view of the sun set!

I feel very grateful for a second fabulous experience at Hostel Petra Marina. The staff always offer me their honest opinions, I like this genuine approach. Some highlights of the trip were visiting Mostar and the Dubrovnik Beer Company, both of which were recommended by staff. The management have also negotiated some good discounts at local restaurants.
The large French windows and balcony areas give the Petra Marina a homely and social feel, which really can’t be replicated at other hostels. Petra Marina has clearly come a long way in a short space of time. Thank you for having me, I hope to visit again.
Great stay with a view

We went to the hostel with a friend for 3nights.
It was short but intense and we enjoyed every minutes spent in Dubrovnik. With the help of the very kind man at the reception, we had the oppportunity to go on a beautiful cruise !
We recommend this hostel for anyone who want to discover Dubrovnik and sleep well in a good and clean place ! (plus the view from the terrasse is beautiful, by day and by night !! )
