The staff checking in were not friendly at all and barely said anything. The bathroom had 2 half empty shampoos, pubic hair around faucet, some blue substance on the counter, blue gooey stuff on bathroom wall. The towels were thin frail and had blood on them. This is not the quality of a normal Choice hotel, I would not stay here again.
This place is not good

I’m not a very picky person. As long as the place I’m staying has a ok bed and a relatively clean room I’m good. This hotel had neither. Although it looked clean and well maintained there were mouse turds in the dresser drawers. The mattress and pillow were horrible. I felt like I was sleeping on rocks with a big stone as a pillow. The telephone on the bedside table didn’t work. When I asked them at the front desk he said most of them don’t work. People use there cell phones these days. Hmm ok. I gave it 2 stars because the people behind the counter were very friendly. I will not ever stay here again though.
Old, mildew, yellow looking bedding

This was a moldy smelling room, the shock was when we got back late and saw the bedding, dingy and yellow looking, how about some bleach the joke is it's too late to do anything about it. The breakfast area was about the size of our bedroom. The coffee was the only thing we tried and left, it was useless causing a major scene. It makes you wonder how choice hotels doesn't check these places periodically for things like this Room 210, super bad.
Not as expected

Just want to say that the family that runs this place are very pleasant. I was grossed out though when I got into the room. They said this style of room doesn't get rented out very often. It was a king with a jacuzzi tub (which we didn't care about). Room 128. The windows were open when we got into the room. The carpet had not been vacuumed in a while as grass was on the surface as well as other things. The nightstand tops had not been cleaned in a while as there was tobacco and water stains from cups or cans. Then I looked at the sheets. The pillow cases were dirty and then when I pulled back the covers I noticed all kinds of things on the sheets. I wanted them changed and they said that they had been. Anyway they did change them. Also the fridge and microwave didn't work until my husband told the owner to check the breakers. I looked around the room then and found a condom wrapper behind a nightstand. The next morning when my husband turned on the bathroom light, the last light bulb burnt out. They said they had never seen that style of bulb before and then went to Walmart to get new ones. We would not have stayed but it was Labor Day weekend and every thing that we knew of was booked up. This place does not deserve to belong to the Choice Hotel group. We were charged $130 with tax. Should have been compensated for it.

Checked in a couple of hours ago. Keys didn’t work. Got that fixed. Rooms are small, but for the rate, to be expected. Bathroom is small and only had towels for 2 despite selecting 4 when booking the reservation. Bed sheets and blankets were gross. Pulled back the covers and white sheets were “off white” with obvious yellowish stains. Worse though was the abundance of human hair all over the sheets. I don’t believe they were changed between guests. Bathroom walls have large holes. Shower rod has been moved multiple times around the hole. Have not seen the breakfast offered yet, but based on the condition/cleanliness of the room, we won’t eat here. If you are forced to stay here as we were, bring your own sheets, blankets and a gallon of hand sanitizer. Staying here makes you just feel dirty. My boys asked repeatedly if they could sleep in the car.
