Nice wee hotel
I found this place Comfortable and food was lovely, staff really nice and even kept some stuff in the fridge for me. Rooms also fine, I had a small window in a back room, not much light but i wasn't fussed. The only thing that could been better is the toliet bowl inside was dirty, probably forget to clean. Some questionable stains in there! Overall really nice place and I would def stay again
Could be better
We came in with my elderly mother for food the food served was not bad could be better and presented much cleaner on the plates. The main issue we had was your receptionist Naomi - rude, unhelpful and could barely crack a smile and only reason I knew her name was the person she was moaning with said her name a few times. Really unprofessional and disgusting way to talk about people especially when the restaurant was fairly busy not exactly quiet. Even when my mother spoke to her she could barely muster two words together as if it was some sort of issue we were there. Personally would return to the hotel for more food as I said before that wasn’t bad but as for the welcoming from the receptionist I wouldn’t bother if I seen her on the desk again. The hotel itself is lovely the owners seem to have invested heavily in a new look and it suits well.
A nice hotel for families
Really a nice hotel, beautiful and comfortable especially for families, traveling alone I'm not sure to reccomend it because it's far from the city centre and u have to get the bus anytime to move from Crossford to Dunfermline. This hotel is in a small village but has the bus stop outside of it, nice bedrooms and an excellent kitchen, I've lunched and eaten a very good breakfast. Staff very polite and available to help you.
Great hotel at a great price
We booked this hotel after reading a fair few positive reviews. It was ideal for what we had planned to visit Scotland for. The rooms were clean and well presented. The only small downside was the shower and how slow the water came out but this in no way dampened our enjoyment. The staff were friendly and we ate in the restaurant. The food was of a good standard and well priced. My bf liked the fact the hotel wasnt far from a bakery!! Suffice to say a few scotch pies were eaten this past weekend. We'll definitely be back!
