It was late and we got a room through Hotwire. The location was great and the fellow at the late-night desk was wonderful. The room was just so-so. A standard two-queen bed room in a maze of corridors.

Love this hotel, it’s in the heart of so much activity. Customer service is top notch and welcome you like family. Marissa, Johnny, and Regina are amazing. They went above and beyond when I realized I left my computer charger. The accommodations are very clean. One of my favorites is the bathing line of shampoo products, very good.

I took my daughters and two dogs on a weekend trip to the Aloft Durham and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you to Wesley, Pam, John, and all the other staff members! Everyone went above and beyond to meet the needs of my family, and it is greatly appreciated. We hope to come back!

This was my first and last time staying at an Aloft hotel. Our room was musty and smelled like corn chips. I called the front desk and let them know that my room smelled like mold and mildew. They said they could send maintenance up to cover up the smell. What??? How about you find the source of the smell and fix it? They moved me to another room that smelled just as bad. I was then told it was probably their cleaning products. I have never used a cleaning product that left my home smelling like corn chips. The toilet kept running unless I jiggled the handle and there was very little pressure in the bathroom sink. The room has carpet that looks dirty and worn. This hotel is way overpriced and the rooms need a lot of attention.

Great location. Room size and hotel amenities are good. Some room furniture is worn and tattered. The bed was made, but the linen on the bed was not clean--used sheets, pillow cases turned inside out instead of changed. I requested clean linen and changed the bed. There was toothpaste splatter on the wall near the sink. There was a mini fridge provided, but it was so loud I had to unplug it to sleep. There were stains on the carpet throughout the room. Parking is $15/night, a fact NOT noted when pricing the room.
