Not up to Marriott Standards. Very disappointed.

Before the ugly. Let's Talk about the good ...the front desk staff was awesome she was very attentive and professional! .... but now let's talk about the building itself ...very disappointed, definitely not up to Marriott standards. Dark and gloomy. After pulling up and walking in and looking at our 2 bedroom suite. We cancelled right there on the spot.(yikes!!)
Worst Marriot I have ever stayed at.

I would have given this hotel zero stars if I could have. It was very dirty. There was a used razor in the shower along with used soaps in the soap dish. Obviously no one had cleaned the bathroom very thoroughly. The carpets had not been vacuumed as there was lots of hair on the floor. The stove was in need of replacement and there was a broken glass in the cabinet. The WiFi did not work so I reported it to the front desk and they gave ME a number to call to get it fixed. They said they would write a ticket for it. The next day it still was not fixed and the front desk had no knowledge of the “ticket” that supposedly had been filled out. We finally gave up on having internet. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at.
Not up to Marriot Standards.

The room was old, dated and needed a deep clean. Tv's are like 20 years old and bad reception.Killed a cockroach and we had over 30 people in a room next door partying all night, till 3 am. The night staff was no help but the day Manager Ann was very understanding and did discount the room. Obviously she cares or I would have definitely given it one star.
A bit disappointing

Upon arrival I waited about 5 minutes for the front desk person to arrive. There was a sign advising that they were away. Person at check-in was very nice and explained the property and amenities. Pool was still closed, I assume due to COVID. The room was in a building at the back of the property up against a wooded area. Many homeless at intersections along the main road and room doors opened to the outside world. We could see daylight around our exterior room door while standing on the inside. We didn't have the safest feeling but that's not the hotels fault. Our room had no toilet paper, no hand soap and no remote control for the TV. We could hear every word the hotel guests in the room one floor above us were saying while having a conversation and they weren't being loud. Overall disappointing in many ways.
*****BED BUGS****CRUSING IN THE PARKING LOT

It was bad enough to have a couple of ladies outside cruising on the cell phone outside of building 5 for almost two hours on the cell phone talking loud but then when i went to bed i was awaken at 1:20 am itching and scratching not knowing what was going on. After pulling back the covers, BED BUGS. They had been feasting on for a long time. My hands that hurting so bad scared me and i was able to catch 2 of them and place them into a plastic bad. I was confessed on what was going on with both hands and arms and back was very itchy. I called the front desk and jumped into the shower. i could not believe what was going on. The want me to leave the bed bugs in the plastic bag and take pictures. I did. I am shocked. After getting into the shower, i could tell that i had been bitten many times on my arms, back, hands and neck.
