Staff are friendly

I called in to get some hotel information and Ms Trina was a great help. She was very clear, friendly and got the job completed. When I arrived I was greeted by Ms Kim. She had to fix an issue with the reservation which was for a king bed not a double. When I got to the room I pulled out the sofa bed because it was right across from the king bed. Which I had never seen positioned like that before. Usually the sofa bed is to the left or right side with a small wall separating the two areas. The pulled out sofa bed was almost kissing the king bed, with very little room to walk through. Which was not a good setup. I found out it was a handicapped room, however it just wasn’t a good fit for me. I requested a new room and Mr Jim took me to a room on the fourth floor by some kind of machinery room at the end of the hall. After setting up in the new room, which had a normal king bed and sofa bed setup. I heard a loud noise kind of like a garage door opening. If you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this room The air conditioning in the room was positioned about a foot away from the king bed. This made it freezing by one side of the bed and the rest of the room was still warm. However there was a fan over by the kitchen area close to the sofa bed. Which I put on high. Because I already changed rooms I didn’t want to drag everyone through that again. The staff were great and friendly starting with Kim, then Jim. Later I spoke with Ava, Darryl who greeted me while in the lobby, was friendly and gave me helpful information during the evening and Amal. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and breakfast. The very unique thing about this location was the elite member spin wheel, that should be a fun game at other hotels. I appreciate the customer service they all provided
Complete Renovation Is Desperately Needed

I use to stay here often before and during covid. I returned after covid and was completely disappointed. This place has turned into a hotel where all the construction workers stay. The place also needs a complete renovation everything is old and outdated. This place still has the first look of the Springhill Suites look. The elevators are old and I thought I was going to get stuck a few times. The ice machines doesn't work on all floors. This place has an odor on every floor. Also most of Marriott property's has the streaming system on the TV's, not this place. The room I stayed in mattress need to be replaced one side has sunk down. My room also had mismatched furniture. I was just disappointed and disgusted. I honestly can't believe this property is still under the Marriott brand. Definitely disappointing to members that spend alot of money with the brand. This definitely will be my last stay at this property. These old properties are over priced and definitely not worth it. This property is more like a no to one star rating in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the friendly staff at this hotel which made my stay really nice. It is not the Taj Mahal but this location is very convenient to the Airport, I-40 Expressway and a few good local restaurants. My check-in with Heather was a early check-in and flawless she was very courteous and helpful in providing information regarding local restaurants. Jovon Mr. "LOVE and Happiness you are truly a MESS!!! But you just keep on singing because it might help somebody get through their bad day. Nicole you are the best with your professional and courteous personality. Now Jacquez, I left the keys to the Bugatti under the floor mat parked behind the hotel, so be sure to look for it. YOU ARE THE MAN! Thanks for everything. Dennis, your specialty is maintenance I know but keep an eye on these Great people. Last but not least a very Special Thanks to Mr. Amal Banerjee I really appreciate how you were able to provide the Best Customer service any hotel guest could ask for. May God Bless you all and keep up the Good Work.

This hotel wasn't as nice as I expected it to be. It's somewhat dated and feels cheap. The worst part was that we had what sounded like a herd of buffalo stomping on the ceiling above us well into the wee hours of the morning. Ironically, I had requested an "executive level" room, which would have been on the top (fourth) floor, and even though I believe I paid a little extra for that, it's not what I got. We could also hear the cars on the nearby interstate. BUT I will say that our room was clean and the bed was super-comfy, which is important to me.

I have booked this hotel a few time. Twice in the last week due to early flights out of RDU. The hotel is not far from the airport and they do offer a shuttle. This is an older hotel, but they seem to keep it up pretty good. My room has always been clean and the beds as fairly comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the price. It is the most affordable in the area. There are a couple of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The only bad part is the desk clerk Q. He is a COWBOY hater! Q’s mom is a COWBOY fan just don’t know what went wrong with him. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
