I returned to this hotel after our stay a year ago and although we felt the room this year was a little smaller due to it being located on the 5th floor with low ceiling in areas due to the roof the sleep was quite and staff ware friendly. The Hotel is located not a far walk from the main area and it is easy to get around. Breakfast was good quality and a reasonable variety of food was on offer, although I felt the room rate was a little overpriced for the night but breakfast was also included for us.
Hotel is used for suspicious activities?

Not a 3 star hotel at all. Felt really unsafe in this hotel. Had a very bad night of sleep because of all night very loud noise on 5th floor. From 2 till 6 am(!) steady, multiple male visitors calling at the door of the room next door with conversations and loud sounds that doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine what happened in this room with the (same) loud female. Night was ruined and I recommend to avoid this place. Paperthin walls here and if this kind of activities are taken place in a hotel, I will as a regular Düsseldorf visitor not come back here as there are many more options. For me a suprise how this place got the reviews it has.
Worst hotel i have ever stayed long time ago

Hotel is so so outdated. I have never seen furniture that old, one would date it back to the 80's. Room wad old, walls were dirty, spider nets behind the filthy curtains at the windows. Windows were not closing well enough, so any car that was passing by made noise. Although we booked double room, in fact there were twin beds and presented as double even though there was a small place between them. Bathroom was also outdated. Breakfast was okish and bed sheets were clean. Overall does not worth the money paid, even small improvements would be beneficial. It is definitely not a 3 star hotel!!!
Not bad for a cheap room

I stayed in a single room in the hotel. It was perfectly nice and within easy walking distance from the main station. I was not there for too long, just doing some work in the room, and having a quick bite to eat out. Honestly, the area around the hotel is a bit shady. Not the most wonderful location, but the hotel itself is really nice. Very clean with great, welcoming staff. It's a really nice little place, and it was a really good price, which mean I got fantastic value for money. I read reports on it being noisy, but I didn't have any such problems. I think I was in the back though, so I guess it's not so bad there. It was quite hot, but it was a very hot time of year.
German quality and comfort.

Great hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Central station for a reasonable price. Very convenient location. It is a 15 - 20-minute walk to the Rhine promenade, the Old town and the art Museum. Very quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff. We were given a map of Dusseldorf and noted all the main attractions on it. All questions about the movements in the Düsseldorf area were given clear and comprehensive answers Comfortable room. The room is clean, very nice bed linen. The triple room has a refrigerator. Wholesome breakfast. We plan to come back for sure.
