Great location

Reviewed 1 december, 2022

This is definitely Not a 4 star hotel but it does do a good breakfast and its location is the best! The room needs a bit TLC and the pillows weren't the best although the bed was comfortable. The proximity to Christmas markets etc was good....therefore I would use it again.

Central Hotel

Reviewed 18 august, 2022

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. It is Central to the Main Station about a 5min walk. Only staff we had contact with was Reception, efficient and friendly. The room we stayed in was very small, bathroom also very small, but over all comfortable and clean. Bar area is nice. Overall its handy for a short break as its central,we were only there to sleep and shower so didnt want any other services really so cant comment on anything else really.

MY FOURTH STAY AT THE BEST HOTEL IN DÜSSELDORF. LOVE IT.

Reviewed 16 september, 2021

I stayed here again for three nights last week, and was really looking forward to it. I was warmly welcomed and speedily checked in to a lovely quiet room which was very clean and comfortable, as always. All the rooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard, as is the rest of the Hotel. The location is perfect for me, and all the staff are so very polite, helpful and friendly. Thank you Lana, Elleni and everyone at the Leonardo boutique Hotel for a lovely stay. See you all again next year x

The rooms are not boutique

Reviewed 5 october, 2020

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. The staff were polite and accommodating as we did arrive earlier and managed to get a room and we were also very kindly and free of charge granted a later check out. The location is certainly central and there is easy access to public transport. However, this is not a boutique hotel, at least in the rooms themselves. While the communal areas looked nicely decorated and stylish, our room did not in the slightest meet the same standard. We stayed in room 336 and allow me to itemise a few maintenance items that need attending to: reading light not working as was damaged; side lamp only had the one bulb, tiles in bathroom about to come loose and clearly a lovely water stain by the air con vent. None of these impeded a comfortable sleep or an adequate stay, however they did make the room look tired and not worth its value. Ah and when got a call to the room we were unable to take said call as the phone cord came loose. We attempted to put it back but still the phone would not work. We were prepared for the room being small and it certainly was small and did the job, Lastly, If parking on site do be prepared for tight corners and bends. Anything larger than a Mini does require some manoeuvring and care, you may well come out of the parking with scratches on your side, as you will notice by the many scratches left by previous drivers on the walls.

Failing airco and very small bed

Reviewed 7 august, 2020

Hi all, Please be warned the Airco is not working correctly if it’s very hot outside. The rooms can’t be cooled comfortably. Extremely disappointing. I asked if we could change rooms, but it seems all the rooms have the same issues. I am staying in the economy room 112. Besides the temperatuur problem, the 2 persons bed is just 140cm. Quite small bed. They should have mentioned the small bed. For the rest it has friendly personnel. We were able to have a later checkout. Location is excellent. Close to the Asian foodspots and the city center. And there are cheap carparks nearby. I think if it’s not to hot it’s a great hotel, but in summer the airconditioning mentioned is fake advertising. Don’t stay here unless you are used to stay in a hot room.
