I fall in love with the female receptionist, I don’t need to tell more. Always cute and kind, sometimes too much with everyone. I’m completely in love with her, without any reason. I don’t know your name or nothing about you, but you definitely make me crazy.
Central location, kept clean, decent amenities
Stayed for several nights, well located and barely ten minutes walk from Waverley Station and key places of interest. Very spacious room, en suite of course, with small fridge in room which proved useful. Room kept clean and well serviced during our stay. Drawback- on a busyish road and no double glazing so heard a lot of traffic and some street noise - an area with a lot of night life especialy at weekends. However, not all rooms will be affected and some higher up or facing the interior well would be quieter. No restaurant so go over to Rabbles bar for breakfast, decent cooked breakfast for £10 but not so good if you like cereal and toast (or croissants ) too. Money saving tip is to call into the local Coop or Sainsbury’s and buy their mini pots of porridge, just add boiling water and enjoy with a croissant afterwards. Good value for money at the present time.
Fantastic hotel!
This hotel is fantastic! We were given a room with a stunning view of Leith and the sea. Beautiful sunsets could be seen from the upper mezzanine. It was my boyfriend’s Birthday and they allowed me to send a bottle of champagne to be ready in the fridge for him, even finding champagne glasses and leaving them ready. Staff were so friendly and helpful via email before we arrived. A perfect stay, thank you!
Awesome
Extremely good experience for the amount of money we spent. The hotel rooms are super cozy, the location is central and you can easily go in and out. Also, COVID19 rules were respected and that made us feel very safe.
Excellent Location
We stayed at the Frederick Hotel in December to visit Edinburgh Xmas Market (I’ve just joined Trip advisor hence the late review). Hotels in the area are quite expensive but I found this to be very reasonable and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the market. Staff were friendly and polite on check in, the double room we had was spacious with a view down into the street, quiet and comfortable and we had a room only rate so no breakfast. We had a great few days and loved that it was in the centre of Edinburgh. This will be our go to hotel for future trips.
