Amazing place
I is place very confortable, it is a beautiful hotel and it is near to the city center. The bed is extremely relax and it is necesary when you walk a lot. The owner is so hopitable. I recommend this place without dudes.
Nice time in Edinburgh
Very nice place. We felt very welcoming! The host loves what she's doing, she has many helpful suggestions to make your stay better and a very handful guide book in the room. Very clean room and toilet, well equipped. We really enjoy the breakfast. Bus stop right outside. Walking distance to center and many restaurants.
Gem in Edinburgh
This is like home away from home. I have high praises for this B&B. Once I made the reservation, the host contacted me to provide information on how to get to her property from the airport. Upon arrival I found her to be very personable, outgoing and accommodating. She happily shares invaluable suggestions for where to eat, local sites to see, and other places in Scotland that may be of interest. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Edinburgh area.
Excellent find
We were looking for a short stay in Edinburgh and were pointed towards Sherwood Guest House in Minto Street. It is a real find and would stay there again. It's convenient (right on a bus stop) good value and provides a great breakfast array of cereals, pastries, breads, meats, cheeses etc. Viv is a great host; leaves you alone, but is there when you need something or want to know something. At the last minute we needed an extra bed and she happened to have a room with a spare bed in it so Viv upgraded us with no charge. Looking fwd to going back.
Cosy and friendly
Great B&B experience at Sherwood Guest House. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated and the proper water pressure in the shower a happy surprise! The breakfast was always fresh and plentiful and the hostess very friendly and helpful.
