More about the hotel
Surface clean but....
A relatively nice motel which appeared to be recently remodeled. However with closer inspection I found signs of failed touch up/repair and what may have been smears of "stuff" on the walls. It's not that hard to wipe the walls down folks!
Do NOT stay!!
I came in at midnight from another state to visit family, cheap price and needed a place to sleep. Office staff was very friendly, lowered my rate. As soon as we walked in our room and immediately changed and got into bed, we heard the neighbors plain as day through the walls, yelling and screaming and cussing. The lady was crying, he got more and more verbally abusive and was talking about killing her and he had a gun or was getting a gun. It was myself and 2 daughters, my husband stayed home, so our first time alone. My girls went into panic attacks and I was freaking out, these people went out their door, was knocking on our door and stood at our door whispering and just being very sketchy. I called 911 and they came immediately 4cats deep, they escorted us out because we were NOT walking out the door alone and the officer stated this was the WORST place we could possibly be. The people next door actually lived in that room and they are called out there constantly for them. We spent no more than 20 minutes there. Took our key up to the office, woke the clerk up again and told him we had to go, we would rather sleep in the car because it was not safe. I just wanted out!! He apologized and said he would refund my money or give me another room, I said I did NOT want a room and didn’t care what happened from that point on and left. He did refund me, which I didn’t expect. Again, the only good thing about the place was the desk guy was very friendly. Other than that I would rather sleep in my car with kids than stay here!!! Rooms were just sleepable, not impressive.
Disappointing experience!!!
Second story of building had burned, was black and dirty. Lobby was dingy and dark. Lousy complimentary breakfast. Room smelled of animal scent. My husband fell in the shower, there was nothing on the tub floor to prevent slipping and falling.
Really bad!
The room was filthy, the bed cover was filthy and the sheets were stained. There was chunks of what appeared to be, dog food all over the floor. The door safety lock was hanging by a thread and served no purpose. There were no shelves in the fridge and there was no coffee maker. Breakfast was very poor and the area was also dirty. The only plus was that the bed was actually pretty comfy and the mattress had a protective cover on it. Never again. Go elsewhere!
I checked out and left my 3 day reservation after 4 hours.
I arrived late. Too late to find another place for the night, and had to get up early for work. I requested a non-smoking room. When I walked into the room, it had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. When I climbed into the bed, there were cigarette ashes under the pillow. I cleaned it up the best I could and slept on the other side of the bed, then left 4 hours later. I had a three-day reservation, and I checked out and found another place to stay. I reported it to the person at the front desk, and he said he couldn't help me because he was simply watching the desk. I called back on my lunch break to inform the manager that I checked out. He refunded me for the following two nights. He said because I cleaned up the mess and didn't leave the cigarette ash there for them to see, he wouldn't refund me for that night. There was also excrement on the shampoo and conditioner packets, which are probably still in the room. The smoke was so thick in the air that I had trouble sleeping.
