We stayed here while in Edmonton for a hockey game at Rogers Place. We chose this hotel for the proximity to Roger’s Place and the reasonable price. The hotel very much exceeded our expectations. Our room was very spacious, and most importantly very quiet. The entire hotel seemed to be recently updated and was decorated tastefully. Would highly recommend this location to others!
Terrible hotel. Avoid at all costs.

I'd give zero stars if possible. We have travelled far and wide and this was the worst hotel experience. Roadside motels are better than this. The AC kept making weird noises. We changed the room in the middle of night but same thing in the other room. One room had electric kettle the other didn't. They started to change locks Saturday morning at 8am. That was the only day we could sleep in. Not everyone is traveling for excursion. Neither side plugs worked so I had to drag one of the tables and oh my. It was like nobody has ever thought of vacuuming around the bed. Also, I don't know who gave the idea of having a power shower sort of tap. Washing hands was a pain. We had to do in the bath tub because it was just impossible with water splashing everywhere on the sink. Terrible terrible hotel. Avoid at all cost. I wouldn't go there even if they were offering free nights.
Fine Hotel in Downtown

Nothing to get excited about but it's centrally located, very good customer service and the bar/rest on the 3rd floor is good. Lobby, halls and rooms are a hog-pot of old and ultra moderns, looks odd and I don't know what look they are going for. Strict Covid protocols in place and enforced, which IMO is good. Overall a good hotel in Edmonton but certainly hot high end.

I was hesitant when I made my reservation here due to the lower rating on TA (where anything lower than a 4 is pretty much unacceptable). Though the location was ideal for me (right downstairs from work) and their recent renovation seemed promising on the pictures, so I decided to give it a try anyways. It did not disappoint - in fact, I was quite happy with what they have to offer. I arrived quite early, though the lady at the front desk did not struggle at all and found me an upgraded suite right away. Though, the first suite was facing the mall and was lacking natural light. My request to move was satisfied with no delay and Pipeto (sorry if I misspelled the name) from engineering made a couple trips to make sure I was taken care of. It turned out that the hotel proactively secure inside-facing rooms for elite members during heat waves for better air conditioning - nice gesture for sure. Pipeto also went out of his way to show me some tricks to control the temperature in room should it become too hot, which didn't happen - the A/C didn't seem challenged at all. The suites were very spacious and was tastefully decorated - a nice deviation from the cookie-cutter new Delta look. Although the living room can use some more lighting for sure, and I found it quite empty - another chair would have made it feel cozier. Quality of sleep was great, and I liked the view from the second suite facing the city. The interior view was quite intriguing as well, although the lack of privacy and natural light as mentioned drove me away. Parking was relatively easy and the front desk was extremely helpful in planning my parking arrangements to minimize costs. They also went above and beyond to secure me a parking pass at reduced rate due to a confusion that was completely my fault - very much appreciated. The only bummer was that the restaurant was not available, which came as a surprise as they disclosed the opposite on their website. As a result, points were offered in lieu. The wrong amount was deposited initially and this was quickly rectified by the hotel upon contact. In general I really did enjoy my stay here more than expected. This was the first hotel on my 21-day road trip and I'm happy to report that the Delta started my trip on a high note. Bottom line - they definitely deserve more than 3.5/5 for sure!
Excellent Hotel in a Centrally Location - Perfect in Every Aspects

I stayed for 4 nights here earlier this month while attending an event in the city. The Delta at Edmonton Centre Suites is on the best hotel I have stayed with better than excellent values for the price they charged. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and within walking distance to everything you need in the city. It is also one of the few hotels that is in a very modern, newly renovated building. I arrived the hotel at 10.30 am, surprisingly, was given a room with no surcharge after a breezy check-in process. Room was newly renovated, extremely well appointed, fully stocked, spotlessly clean and very large - it is almost like a family room size. It has an excellent view facing the city. Calls to the front desk requesting service items were well-received with items delivered to the room within 10 minutes at most. All staffs I encountered were very well appointed, professional, cheerful and friendly. This is definitely my top preference if I would ever return to this city.
