More about the hotel
Under cooked food
We book as our 1st holiday has a couple. Will be remembered for the wrong reasons. 1st the good points its clean. And they changed our room to one with a double a few days after we started. And they made our room look lovely for my partner's birthday. Now the worse. Food was under cooked and cold ppl were lining up to use the microwave. The food had no taste. Was told to complain to manager and showed him a picture of the raw chicken I was served he said nothing could be done about the food. We ending up eating out every day. Thd best meal was breakfast. We were one of the few who paid all inclusive. When going to the bar to get drinks we were ignored for ppl buying there drinks. We didnt use the pool was closed due to the time of year. We are a young couple we were the youngest there. There was no entertainment! There steep hill to walked back up to the hotel Asked if we would go to this hotel again hell no. Came home a few £ light in weight and bank balance.
Never again
We stayed at this hotel last week, people blasting music late at night, beds were hard and uncomfortable, if you wanted a drink with your evening meal it was to pay for, the food was disgusting, same choice near enough every night. The steak on one night wasnt even edible.Ended up eating out for the rest of the week. Hotel staff were not very friendly at all very German orientated hotel. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel at all. No tea and coffee making facilities in rooms.
Not a 4* by far
Well... we're currently at the hotel. We arrived yesterday, and this is my thoughts so far from the moment we arrived. The lady on reception is not welcoming at all. She did her job, we got our key card. But no greeting, or smiles! I think these small things go along way personally. It's very German oriented, all the tourist info is in German, not English. The food is pretty crap, I'm pretty bored of pasta already. It's all overcooked, dry and tasteless. Oh and you'll be lucky if it's warm too. I am currently sat in the sky bar, we knew the bar would be closed as it's out of season. That's not a problem, however basic maintenance of this area would be nice. As the pictures of this place look lovely, not so lovely in person. The germans have crashed what was a lovely chilled lay down on the sunbeds. They are blaring their music out, no consideration for other guests at all. We came upto the skybar, as some of the other germans at the pool bar were blaring scooter out. Nothing was said by staff? Really quite annoying, especially when we payed over £1k to be here for only 3nights!! Our room is clean, we payed extra for a superior room. Not sure what the other rooms look like, as this room is still quite small. The beach is lovely, but I definitely wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.
Nice hotel... Shame it's out of season policy's are not advertised.
Lovely clean hotel. Check in was accomodating as we arrived early and could store our bags. Reception checked us in early so we could have lunch. Not very helpful in letting us know what facilities were available and where they were. All inclusive more like full board... Included cocktails were so sweet they were undrinkable. Couldn't find any snacks between meals. Water not included... Had to buy bottled water from machine at crazy prices or get from across the road in shop as we were not allowed to take drink s (served in plastic disposable cups) outside the pool bar area. Food was mostly good with good choice. Not kept warm enough but plenty of variety and the black paella was amazing. The dining room was horribly noisy and busy out first night... lots of large 50plus travel groups sat together filling the dining room. It was So crammed people were stood talking and leaning over us as we ate. We couldn't really hear ourselves think so we got out of there asap. Bar staff at the pool bar worked hard and coped well when it was busy... They could have done with a little more help some nights as the queues can be long to get a drink. Entertainment was... Non existent and when it was on was not amazing.... Superior Rooms are small but lovely and modern and clean. Little disappointed that the beds were just two singles pushed together and made up with single sheets.... They couldn't be zipped together so they slid apart in the night. The frosted sliding door for the toilet is and interesting concept and made things a little uncomfortable... Over sharing..... The shower was amazing! The location was good. Not on the beach but a short distance from a lovely bay type beach with beautiful sand great for paddling. The walk is steep so may cause difficulty for anyone with limited mobility. The jacuzzi was in a cold water pool that doesn't get any sun at this time of year.... So couldn't use it. The roof bar was closed... Great place to sun bathe... but annoying you couldn't get a drink or snack from there (this would not have been included in the all inclusive anyway) Had to pay to rent a safe for the room.... All in all did not feel like an all inclusive hotel... I had a lovely stay here and slept well but would not visit again with expectations of a 4 star hotel. Perhaps the facilities are better in the summer....
An average stay so far....
Still at the hotel. Only arrived at midnight and therefore no food or drink available. Not even water. Either had to but it from the overpriced vending machine in the hotel or buy bottled water from the local shop. Not a good first impression. Breakfast was very very busy first morning and better the second. Food is ok, could be a bit warmer. Variety ok. Dining room is very noisy with everyone doing their thing. All inclusive drinks are ok. Music is on permanently from ten am to midnight I think. It doesn't need to be on that late every night. Our first room was tiny and that was not the budget room apparently, not sure how!! A sliding door for the toilet is a bit wrong. There was still a.gao wh n it was closed. Nobody needs to hear or smell that! We paid 15€ extra per night with reception for a suite, much better and good value. A steep hill down to the beach. Beach is good. Catch the 25 bus on the promenade to Palma town. It's only 3€ return. Another review at the end of the holiday. Safe is 3€ per day plus 20€ deposit.
