This is a superb hotel run by extremely friendly and obliging staff. The setting is beautiful and the food is delicious. We stayed in the family apartment which exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious with very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and it opened out to the outside area which made quick trips to the sea for a morning swim very easy! Thank you so much to all the staff especially Marion who was so welcoming. The Taste of Connemara treatment at the spa was amazing and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic hotel. We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary..The room was so comfy, The food was delicious and the staff are fantastic. We had dinner both nights in the hotel and it was delicious. We also used the SPA which was lovely. I am looking forward to returning to the hotel because we had a fantastic stay.

Just returned from our first trip to the Connemara Sands Hotel & Spa. We had a wonderful stay there in such a beautiful part of Ireland. We're a family of five and stayed in one of the superior suites which had plenty of room for us all. There were lovely sea views from every room in our suite. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They really gave us a lovely time. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order as well as a cold buffet and there were plenty of options. We also ate dinner there each evening and the food was amazing!! We all really enjoyed it. We were sorry to have to leave but hope to be back soon!!

Just returned from our second home "Connemara Sands Hotel". Wish it could be our permanent home. Many thanks to Kathy and Dean Tony Brian Marian and Christina who all made our stay such a happy one and to the Chef for the delicious dining experience. The only fly in the ointment was the absence of Martin who was always full of crack but has now emigrated with his family to pastures new. We look forward to next year and a return visit Frank and Evelyn Fawl

I have always loved going to visit the Sands, it was my first time back since covid. It is located in the heart of Connemara with its own private beach. We had a family suite overlooking the sea, the most stunning view. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat, baked ham, fruits, musli, muffins, cheeses and homemade breads. I had the pancakes and they were perfect! Dinner that evening was the highlight of our stay. The menu offered something for everyone. I had the duck to start it was exquisite. For main course I had the chicken and it was to die for. Last but not least the service was genuine and friendly, this type of service can be lost in Hotels, but not in the sands. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the owners to the accommodation staff. Thanks Dean, Cathy, Sinead, Tony and Marion for a great stay. I can’t wait to come back!
