Excellent hotel and excellent Hotel manager Mrs. Zeynep

Location convenient to transport, to city, to transport and restaurants. Quiet area. Hotel rooms are modern and clean, with all conveniences in a picturesque building that has been a bank before being a hotel (that is why the hotel has been named after the bank). Staff was extraordinarily helpful in explaining how to get around. A special thank to Mrs. Zeynep, the Hotel Manager, who has been of great help in organizing me a COVID test directly at hotel, booking a taxi to airport at sharp time. Extremely recommended!!! Don’t miss it!!!
Great Hotel for a city trip

My mum and I stayed in Bankerhan for 6 days as we were exploring the city of Istanbul.
The hotel is perfectly located to explore the city, many sights can be explored in walking distance and also the Metro and ferry station are very close.
The rooms are small, but very modern and contain everything necessary. Especially the beds are very comfy and the area is quiet, so after a day of sight seeing you can get a good rest.
The staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommend! ☺️
Amazing location, rooms, and staff

Located convenient to subway and restaurants but in a quieter area. Staff was extraordinarily helpful in explaining how to get around, booking a taxi to the airport, helping me understand the metro card system, even helping with HES code issues.
Absolutely brilliant views, host& hotel

Stop looking at anymore hotels, Bankerhan is perfect for everything in Istanbul! I stayed here for 6 nights, I liased directly with Zeynab via WhatsApp which you can find on their website. She was able to upgrade me for free to a room with complete breathtaking panoramic views across the bospherus. I'm talking amazing views, with ships and yachts passing by. It's like the window is a painting, it's that good.
The hotel & each room I stayed in, is extremely QUIET which is so important to me, because I'm a light sleeper, & i moved from another hotel in Istanbul, in the Kumkapi District which is so noisy day& night with regular traffic jams& cars constantly beeping right on the street below, till11pm. I thought this was just Istanbul, and I really wasnt enjoying it as I couldn't relax with the noise pollution. It's relentless the beeping in certain areas of istanbul! But Karakoy & this lovely hotel are worlds away from the noise! The streets are so small in karakoy& you hardly get any cars go through there, it's like a cool little oasis of mainly pedestrians. the area attracts arty, hipster types of locals& tourists alike. No beeping cars! karakoy& Galata District is like a quiet zone in Istanbul.
Zeynab& the other staff couldn't do enough for me. One gentleman on the desk sorted out my Istanbulkart so I could use the metro-i highly recommend using the metro as taxis were stressful for many different reasons!
Everything about the hotel is pure quality, from the slick modern shower, to the sink, the massive bed(which is a medium firmness, with a luxurious topper), the views, the service, the air con works perfectly. The interior, the cool industrial design throughout. I needed a kettle & Mugs& bowls, so Zeynab provided me with those no problem.
Stop looking and book this hotel its such amazing value! Trust me you'll need somewhere quiet & comfy to retreat to, after exploring the rest of the city!
This is the spot for Istanbul!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here while visiting Istanbul from Canada and we were blown away by the room. It was super modern and had cool art pieces, the most comfortable mattress of our vacation and was super close to the action while not being in a loud area. The staff was super friendly, one lady even walked with us to help show directions, she was very sweet. Great stay!
