Se trata de un motel bien ubicado (su única virtud), con un desordenado estacionamiento en el que puede uno quedar muy lejos de su cuarto o, si éste se encuentra en alguno de los extremos, nuestro automóvil quede bloqueado para salir o entrar; los anfitriones nos resultaron muy poco cordiales durante la estadía, y depués de ella, estando en San Francisco, nos dimos cuenta que nos habíamos olvidado algunas ropas en el motel; llamamos por teléfono y nos dijeron que las enviarían solamente si pagábamos 60 dólares, lo que hicimos autorizando el pago con nuestra tarjeta de crédito; no es un lugar hospitalario, traten de evitarlo para evitar experiencias como la nuestra.

One of the grossest hotels i’ve stayed in. I asked for a partial refund, to which they refused. Management said there was nothing wrong with the room, which was totally incorrect. Floors were sticky, there was gunk on the comforter, stains on the sheets, dirt in the towels, scraps on the floor, a dirty shower and unclean surfaces. DO NOT STAY!!!! Disgusting hotel, especially considering we’re still in a pandemic!!!
Would I stay here again?

Best Western was $99, Quality Inn was $79, but I got this place last minute for $59. Check in was fast and friendly and while they were not able to accommodate my request for a second floor room, the room I got was very clean. It is an older property that has been well renovated. You do hear noise in the parking lot and doors shutting but I set the fan on the HVAC to run and slept very well. Real happy with television, bathroom clean (very small shower), had an iron, microwave, and refrigerator. Given the high prices for hotels in Eureka, this place was an excellent value proposition. I will be back if passing through. This is a 3 star but I rated it 4 because of their value for the money.

We arrived in Eureka fairly late at night, and all the other hotels in the area were booked. When we arrived, we noticed some pretty intense construction going on in the street directly in front of the motel, which made us a little nervous, considering that all the rooms directly front that street. Our room was on the end, and was actually right by *2* fairly busy, loud intersections. The walls are very thin, with basically no insulation for noise. The wall heater/AC unit didn’t have a setting for fan only, so it couldn’t be used for white noise to try and drown out the noise outside. We tried using the bathroom fan, but it made a horrible grating sound. The street noises were just SO LOUD that it was unbearable, even with earplugs in my ears! Worst night I have ever spent in a hotel in my life. The room was fairly clean, but really needs updating. The gauzy curtain on the window was full of tears. I really cannot recommend this motel. Book a room somewhere else well in advance so you don’t end up in our situation!
Owners trying but the place is just too loud.

Nicely appointed room. We have no issues within the four walls. However the noise outside is more than should be tolerated at least in Eureka, California. The middle of of Paris, Rome, or San Francisco, I would understand. But a property in this miserable excuse for a small city shouldn't be getting these rates for this assault on the senses.
Find another place away from downtown. I stayed at the Town House last year and it's no better. I DO appreciate the attention to COVID-19 protocols, otherwise it would be one-star.
