Very nice Place!!!

Great hotel with a very friendly staff and alot of perks. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the complete collection of miniature NFL football helmets. The staff had organized them with each team that was playing each other for week as well as put the teams that were on the bye week by themselves. The lobby was clean and had a bar that served adult beverages. My room was clean, bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provided by the hotel. I will stay here again my next time through Farmington. Thank you for making me feel at home!!!

"Thank you Courtyard Farmington!"

Reviewed 7 december, 2021

While traveling on business, I found myself at the Courtyard Farmington in Farmington, NM. Before arriving, it had taken several hours to get there and I was a typical weary traveler. The warm welcoming lobby was quite a relief. Across from the front desk was a lounge/ bistro that offered beer, wine and cocktails in the evening. Always appreciate this in a hotel. Especially in fall and winter when you don't feel like roaming far for a drink at the end of the day. The first floor also has a variety of pluses for any traveler including meeting rooms, guest laundry and a pretty well stocked fitness center. The one drag was that there was some remodeling going on so there indoor pool was closed. I can't wait to see it the next time I'm back at the Courtyard Farmington. The room was clean and spacious. It looked as they were also part of the recent remodeling because the room looked fantastic. The rooms had very nice hardwood floors that, for some reason, I prefer to carpeted hotel rooms. The room was clean and ideal. Thank you Courtyard Farmington for the great place to stay. Not sure when I'll find myself back in Farmington, NM. But I know where I'll be staying, when I do.

DONT STAY HERE

Reviewed 30 october, 2021

As we entered the hotel at 5PM, the only desk receptionist was telling a guest that "the water should be on fairly soon, but there is no exact time. " People were exiting the adjoining bar because there was no water. And then the fire alarm went off, so we went outside. Other guests outside told us the water had been off many hours due to construction. We decided to go to dinner and return when things had settled down. The water was still not available when we returned at 7PM and there was no prediction of when it would be on. (Still only one person at the desk with many irate guests in the lobby.) I asked to have my Marriott member reservation transferred to the Fairfield Suites down the street. I was told they couldn't do that, but they would give me a refund even though it was beyond cancelation time if we didn't want to stay. So we took the refund and paid more money at the Fairfield. I will be writing to Marriott about this at the end of the vacation. I learned from the person at the desk that the crew renovating the hotel recommended that the reopening be delayed, but the owner insisted that they go forward with the reopening.

Standard Marriott Courtyard

Reviewed 24 october, 2021

The hotel is undergoing renovations that are already paying off in terms of appearance. Front desk staff was great. Room was fine. This is basic Marriott fare. I am a big fan of Marriott because you know what to expect and you get what you pay for. I was under the impression however, that the Courtyard brand was a step up the corporate hierarchy of brands from Fairfield Inn. Yet Fairfield Inn has complimentary breakfast and in-room microwaves. Otherwise, I can't tell much difference between the two. Breakfast at this Courtyard cost $12 and was not very appetizing. The ice machine on the third floor was broken.

Decent hotel. Just needs TLC.

As others have noted, the hotel is in need of renovation. It is an impressive looking building from outside Inside, the hallways were in need of paint, the AC was not working in the lobby, and the pool was closed and blocked from view. The pros were that Chris at the front desk was friendly, the room itself was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good.
