We really enjoyed our stay, from start to finish. Such a clean, comfortable property, with friendly helping staff. Room exceptional, with full size frig, cooktop, counter, microwave. Good breakfast. Clean area. All at a very reasonable rate.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space we got, in a corner suite, at TownePlace Suites. The kitchen area was large, for a hotel room, and had all the basics. It wasn’t all that expensive, considering. The hotel was honestly pet-friendly, with a reserved space for dog-walking quite close to the Superchargers in the back parking lot, and no apparent restrictions on which room classes could accept pets. The place seemed clean and well-kept. Breakfast was pretty good for this class of hotel. My only real gripe was that the exterior doors are pretty narrow and that made getting a fully-loaded luggage cart through them kind of tough. All doors (main lobby, mezzanine level, and those near the stairs) are modestly-sized hinged doors. As it seems someone else has noted, the general theme of offering free WiFi and then charging extra for _decent_ WiFi was on full display. Lots of chains are doing this now but it is still a bit disappointing. Might have been less so if I’d seen that coming.

Well, based on the previous reviews, we should say something negative. However, it being Covid restrictions are pretty much still in place for a hotel, things aren’t like they were a few years ago and you can’t blame the staff for that. We stayed for several days and had no complaints. Staff was nice, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again, should we visit this area again.
Poorly Run - Not Marriott Quality

There were so many issues that it's difficult to point out which one prompted me to write this review. Suffice it to say, if you want Marriott quality, this hotel is NOT for you. If you want competent staff with a clue about how to run a hotel - this is not for you. The front desk staff was clueless as to any question I had. In fact, they were not well-trained on customer service. On more than one occasion I got interrupted mid-sentence so they could answer the phone then they would stay on the phone for at least five minutes while I waited there. One time the clerk answered the phone then went to do something in the back and never came back. Oh, and the rooms are worn and not all that clean.

I noticed a data charge on my folio for $4.95 which I only used the free internet and not the enhanced version. First thing in the morning around 9am I let the lady at the front desk know, she holds on to my folio with the circled error amount to give to her manager & tells me her manager will adjust the charge when she gets in shortly. I check back around 11am and still the adjustment hasn’t been done. I ask her why she can’t do the adjustment. She tells me she’s new and hasn’t been trained. I feel like this is a basic that every front desk associate should be trained on before being left on their own. When I checkout at 12pm I ask if the amount has been adjusted. Front desk lady says it hasn’t & gives me her front desk manager’s business card for “Nicole Aspaas”. I say to the front desk lady “it is not my job as a guest to contact your manager about a billing adjustment”. She then says I won’t check you out in the system till the adjustment is done. I view my final folio on my Marriott app and noticed the adjustment was never done. I know the amount is not that much but it’s the fact I got charged for something I did not use so I wanted it off and the adjustment never got taken care of which made my hotel experience horrible.
