Hotel in the "new city"

Reviewed 11 april, 2020

An important rule for all hoteliers is that they should stay in the different rooms for at least one night. The bathroom is a disaster. Shower is in a triangular space! When we wanted to shower in the evening, the water was cold. In the morning, it was hot. So, make sure that you plan your shower accordingly (try to shower as early as possible in the morning). Many stairs – luckily the hotel staff carried our luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was rather special and fresh and prepared while we waited: fresh orange juice, eggs to order, pancakes, tea and coffee. Hotel within easy walking distance of the town center.

Comfortable hotel

Reviewed 1 march, 2020

We stayed for two nights as part of a tour. This is quite a modern hotel and the room was spacious with a good size bathroom. Service was excellent - we noticed the shower door was coming off it hinges and reported the issue which was promptly fixed. The roof top terrace had a restaurant, bar and pool, with amazing views at sunset. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good. The Moroccan wine was quite good too.

Fairly modern hotel for Morocco with good rooftop views

Reviewed 18 january, 2020

Rooms were some of the nicest stayed during the Intrepid Tour. Big bathroom with very large shower. Rooms had working tvs and spacious. Rooftop views were great with extensive (but limited) breakfast; lots of bread!! Slightly far from restaurants but wasn't too much of an issue.

Spending a couple of nights in the second biggest city of Morocco

Reviewed 22 july, 2019

As part of an Intrepid Tour we spent two nights at the Across Hotel. We very much enjoyed the swimming pool and bar on the 9th floor - with air temperatures soaring to nearly 40 degrees. The rooms are spacious with a lovely big bathroom, two beds and a window that opens up - but keeps all the traffic noise out at night. One of the nicest rooms on our tour so far. Service was friendly and prompt, and staff had good knowledge of English and French. Compared with other hotels we felt the breakfast fell a bit short of expectations, no freshly pressed orange juice, bread tasted a bit old and range of products was a bit limited. Addressing these issues would certainly lift the hotel to an ‘Excellent’ level.

Comfortable room in Nouvelle Fez

Reviewed 14 july, 2019

At first we were disappointed that our tour booked our hotel in the new part of Fes, but it turned out to be quite nice. The room was large and comfortable. For dinner we walked around the corner to the boulevard our guide described as the champs elysees. It was fun to watch all the locals come out for their evening stroll and socializing. This hotel was one of the few that we stayed in that had CNN.
