Like staying with your favorite aunt on her farm
We stayed here last year, and I finally am writing a review. We picked it at random, and couldn't believe our luck. Arte Contadina is a working farm, with animals and vegetables. It is less than a mile from the train station. Staying here was like staying with relatives. The woman running with it cooks you the same food she makes for her family. Also, her brother runs a restaurant on the property which is simply amazing. The building is a very solid stone building, bed and shower were great, a very peaceful place. One day they lent us some bicycles and we rode through the countryside to an old hill town 8 miles away. Stunning. We had so much fun here,.....
Short stay
This place is amazing.Owner she is real Italian mum.We was so welcome.She making food what she provides for her family.Breakfast was excellent.Don’t have no bad words to say.All very positive.Thank you very much Italian mum (don’t know your name that’s why named you as mum)
Just lovely
Arte Contadina is a wonderful agriturismo, in a historic farm complex, where we received a very warm welcome from the owner Chella. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, tastefully modernised whilst retaining some lovely features like exposed beams and old wooden doors. We slept well, ate wonderful breakfasts and enjoyed seeing the animals on the working farm. This would be a good place to break a journey if you were driving to the south of Italy. It is also fantastic value for money. We will definitely be staying again.
Above and beyond.
Arrived here, late after a long journey, and we were so welcomed and looked after! Rooms are large, spacious and clean. Fed and watered us with such friendliness. Amazing cook, great breakfast. Didn't see much of the area, as this was an overnight stay but the building itself was beautiful, and tastefully restructured. Good wifi. Thank you so very much.
Nice B&B at Farm
Farm B&B near Fiorenzuola d'Arda. Old farm ambiance with modern conveniences. Owner spoke adequate English and was helpful. Breakfast offered variety and was plentiful. The 1000 year old Abbazia di Chiaravalle della Colomba church and monastery is close by and worthy of a visit. Farm for vegetables (we would call it a truck farm) and tomatoes for sauce. If you are interested in farming, growing vegetables, or see how they do it in Italy, this is the place to do so.
