Great place!
We enjoyed our stay here. It is clean, close to the trainstation and center in walking distance. A bit noisy because of the trains near by and no own bathroom, but we would definitely stay here again!
Disappointed
The street name on the email we were sent wasn't spelt correctly so we found it difficult to find the guesthouse. When we eventually got there it looked like it was the bad part of the city. Nobody answered the door or the phone after several times, so we decided this must be a scam! We for fitted our money to go stay somewhere nicer. Terrible experience, rather book somewhere else to start off.
Good
Luca was amazing at check in! Super friendly and informative. I think he usually runs the place alone. We showed up early so the room wasn't ready (our fault of course). He let us drop our things in the room anyway and said we could hang out in the main area of we wanted but we just went out to explore. When we returned everything was good to go! We had a nice King size bed with a great big window so lots of fresh air. There are two bathrooms which is great because there aren't that many rooms anyway so there was always one free. It was super noisy but that didn't bother us. It was a reallllly close wall from the train station which was super convenient. Florence is small so everything was in walking distance. Breakfast was packaged pastries, tea and juice. The place was clean. We really enjoyed it.
Good informative staff. A little noisy from outside
We stayed here recently with our 17month old daughter. It's pretty central, right next to the train station and a main route in by car. (Also missing the traffic restrictions) The staff were friendly and informative. Parking is very limited outside if you have a car, however the staff do arrange to have it parked in a secure garage for you. It cost 15 euro for 24 hours parking for us. The rooms are a little noisy with the arriving trains and traffic passing, but we did manage to rest well. All in all a decent one night stay. So we would recommend for short stays.
Nice and friendly
Good all-rounder lovely staff good location. Rooms were lovely provided tea coffee and kettle breakfast was all in packets so you can eat it on the go. Bit disappointed but you get what you pay for. Bathroom was good. Bed was comfortable what else do you need.
