the worst hotel we have ever stayed in
Reviewed 4 february, 2020
the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. the construction of the hotel was very old without any renovation. The room was very dirty with soiled walls and in the bathroom you couldn't touch anywhere. the owner sitting at the reception was indifferent. there is no elevator and you go up three floors on foot
Not recommend !! Не рекомендую !!

This is not a hotel, it was horror, the hotel door was open 24/7, and there was no one in the reception !!! In the "Hotel" linens was black (due to dirt) !!!! Dirty Bathroom, there was impossible to touch anything. We could not stay there for a second and ended up on the street at 1 am
Very tight for a quad room
Reviewed 12 october, 2019
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The quad rooms for a family of 4 were way too tight with very little room for luggage. Could not move in the tiny shower and tiny bathroom. It is although located within walking distance to the centre of Florence. Would be great for a couple looking for cheap and cheerful hotel in a good location. Breakfast was included which was fine. Remember this is a 2 star property so don't expect bells and whistles.
2 Stars for Location - The Room, Not Great But Not That Bad
Reviewed 2 september, 2019
My favorite part, it's at the intersection of Purgatorio and Inferno. How much better does it get than that? I second, hard to find--when you find the alley, look at the plaques next to the doors to find it, do not overpack, huge stairway up to reception, and then another, and another. Smallest room I've ever been in, little tiny bathroom, the shower curtain sticks to you while showering, the breakfast was OK, croissants were good. I want to say it was awful but the location was amazing, the hotel is above a bunch of designer shops, just steps from everything, you can easily walk everywhere in Florence from here. The room was clean, nice fluffy towels that smelled like vinegar, the price was ridiculously cheap so what do you expect? The staff was great, even apologized for the room. I'm not sure why they don't clean the marble stairs that lead from the alley to the first floor. Kind of an awful first impression but hey the Location--you have a room in the heart of Florence, it's just a place to sleep.
The worst bathroom mould I’ve ever seen
Reviewed 1 january, 2019
2star really?? Not expecting the Ritz but do not expect to be confront with mould on the tile grout, sealant on the floor and the string for the alarm. Reading previous reviews this issue has been there over a year and that makes it worse because it means the owner do not give a damn about the health of their customers. Without a doubt if we had booked more than one night we would have cancelled other nights. The toilet cistern is cheap plastic that takes ages to fill and does not work efficiently. Paid £113 for the night considering the location is ok but not for the hotel or what we encountered. Also not instructions anywhere for evacuation in case of fire which I would imagine is against Fire Regs , it would be in the UK, but maybe not in Italy ??? Until they sort out the disgusting bathroom which not only need a deep clean but a total upgrade I recommend booking another hotel. I will be very interested to see if the hotel owners will respond to this post !!!
