Excellent value in central Florence.

I came here in early February with a group of 12 on a tour organized by GoAhead Tours. The place is centrally located in Florence near one of the major train stations. It is within walking distance of the museums and cathedrals. It has your typical Mediterranean architecture--maybe three stories with a garden atrium in the center. The decor on the inside is bright and ultra-modern. There is a lounger area adjacent to the bar. The bar has a very good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The rooms have European-style windows that open up to the atrium. There are TV and WiFi available. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. I only brought clothes for four days on a week-long trip, so I used their dry cleaning service. It was only moderately expensive and my clothes were ready by the end of the day. All of the prices are listed on the price list. The bathrooms are of the typical European style with bidets. I wish American homes had bathrooms like these, since they are so much nicer. There is a very nice dining room where the continental breakfast is served. Tea, apple and orange juice, coffee, sausage, ham, and fresh fruit were available. The dining area was painted in pastel colors as I recall with paintings of rustic scenery. This hotel has a very laid-back and pleasant atmosphere. Keep up the excellent work. No complaints.

Stayed for two nights. Good location, 5 min from the train station and within walking distant to most attractions (Florence is not that big it is very walkable). We booked a twin room and was given a bigger triple family room, nice! Room was clean, comfy and quiet. Decors kind of plainBreakfast was very good and their staff actually checked on us. They made Espresso for us. February was not busy tourist season, the room rate was excellent. Only negative might be no drinking water or coffee/tea in the room.

I’ve stayed here at least 4 times and come back due to it’s proximity to the station, mercado and central tourist areas. The hotel has been renovated, the restaurant staff are nice, breakfast good.
But.... it is the noisiest hotel, it’s relentless. Doors are constantly being slammed and it seems to have mass group bookings of kids and students who just scream and shout and thump around, with no adult supervision. I can hear furniture being dragged around. It’s 11pm now and there are kids screaming and shouting in the rooms around ours.
It’s left to other guests to open their doors and ask them to keep the noise down.
We won’t come back, it’s a shame.
Enjoyed our stay here
