Ehhhh, I don’t recommend

Over priced and as you’re checking in your find out the pool is temporarily closed, the free continental breakfast is temporarily closed, I’m sure it’s all permanently closed. WORST PART- the first room we were in was extremely infested with fleas. They moved us and the second room had them too just not as bad. We just dealt with it and got out asap in the morning.
Room stinks and musty. Bugs. Pool closed. Lobby bathroom closed. Breakfast not being served.

Just go with musty smell and bugs. All the closed amenities did not bother me except none of this was disclosed when the room was booked. Looked like approximately 9 people were staying at the hotel. Not counting the bugs the room was clean enough for not clean. I think they are trying to turn the hotel/motel around from a real armpit but they have not got there. I'm sure the pandemic hasn't helped if they are trying a turnaround. I can't recommend at this time.
Covid has taken its toll

We had to come to Vero Beach for a family funeral and the EconoLodge was reccomend AFTER a family member checked it out. When we arrived the front desk person was extremely nice and explained what changes Covid had created, i.e. no pool, no continental breakfast, no daily clean cleaning, we u understood, it's not their fault! First... this in not a brand new hotel and some areas do show some ware and tear but out room was clean, not spotless but as clean as my house if not cleaner! The bathroom was clean, amenities fully stocked including in ng in room coffee. The towels and wash clothes were Choice Hotel brand not the typical cheap ones. Plenty of hot water for showers. The beds were comfortable (a bit firmer than my usual) but I got plenty of rest. All in all, a good value for the money spent... I would have no problem recommending this motel to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay!
Never go here

I paid $1300. for two rooms for five days to take my kids and grankids on vacation. There were bed bugs in my room, they were willing to comp 1 day, I was there for 3 days before I knew what was going on, by then I was eaten up. My daughter and grandkinds were not affected, thank God! They were cold and I even called the corporate office and all they could say was I am sorry

Our room was okay but smelled like a wet dog upon arrival. The carpet was atrocious and had blood stains and a big black stain by the door. We had to wear shoes during our entire stay. We checked in at 9 pm and and got a “courtesy” call at 10:30 waking us up to see if our room was okay:/ That’s much to late to be calling and waking weary travelers. The microwave made zapping sounds and the room filled with smoke. There was a loud party next door and in the parking lot. Only good thing I can say is that the front desk guy was nice. We won’t be back.
