Hotel Castiglione Village

Un hotel 3 estrellas con una buena relacion calidad precio. Tienen varias piscinas, destacan las aguas termales. El hotel se presenta como un pequeño pueblo, pero se encuentra un poco alejado de la ciudad. La comida lo peor. Intentar buscar habitaciones con vista al mar. En internet se pueden encontrar semanas en pensiones completa a precios inmejorables.

The hotel is 10 minutes from the bus stop. There is a minibus from hotel to bus stop and to the beach.Taxi is quite expensive.The hotel has 4 swimming pools, 2 for children, one thermal and one external. The structure is very hot . There is very little shadow and a lot of people.and it is better not to go in July and August.You have to pay 5 euro extra for 'animazione'. The air condition in the room did not work and people at the reception fixed the problem in the late afternoon.There are lot's of stairs.

Stayed for a fortnight in 2 consecutive years 2016 and 2017 on a full board package. The first time I was satisfied with the food and accommodation although at breakfast the dining room served a horrible 'orzo' brew, from a dispenser machine which they insisted was coffee. The following year food was a disaster. All the vegetables served as an entrée buffet were frozen, thawed and thrown soggy on serving platters. The rest of the courses were just as soggy and tasteless. In the bedroom an onion thin shower curtain 4 cm shorter than the shower recess stuck to your body when turning on the shower. All feedback to staff was received with a thousand nonsense explanations convinced you were stupid enough to believe them.

Stayed 2 nights over the 2018 New Year and it was a little desperate. Hotel is basic but very clean but nothing to do in the winter. My family were the only foreigners as the rest were Italian and while the waiting staff tried to be helpful the language barrier was a problem. Meals are served to you at the table and I have never stayed anywhere that does not have buffet meals and now I know why. The choice was very limited and even my husband who is Mediterranean and will eat anything found the food random. Most of the rooms are accessed from the terraces however ours was at the beginning of an enclosed tiled corridor and it was very noise. Children and adults constantly charging up and down screaming and shouting. So there was no point going to bed early.

We had an Amazing time there. The place was really clean and nice and also the service was good. The swimming pool was clean and warm and also the area relax was nice. They offers a lot of spa treatments and it's not to expansive. The food was very good and tasty. The guy at reception was very nice friendly and helpful with us. We are Really satisfied about everything. We'll definitely return. Thanks to everybody Rossana & Emanuele ❤️
