Great place to stay, close to the beach

Nice clean and comfortable place to put your head down. My family and I fit fine, the room was clean, and we'd happily stay here again. You can't see the beach, but you are on the "water" from a nearby lagoon of sorts.
Great Place to Stay in Fort Bragg

We stayed at the beach house inn in February and really enjoyed our room. The room was very spacious, clean and well stocked. Our balcony was a perfect place to enjoy a morning espresso while watching the wildlife. Their sister property across the street has laundry facilities which were very helpful. Check in and check out was quick and easy and there was plenty of parking close to our room which was quite convenient. Thank you very much for an excellent stay, Kenny N.
Relaxing and beautiful... but...

It was such a pleasure to get to enjoy one of the rooms with a soaking tub and fireplace overlooking the estuary. We are grateful that we could have this opportunity before this block of rooms will be closed down for a while for renovations. While our room was comfortable, it will be interesting to see what the rooms will be like in the future, as they are worn and ready for updates. Our broader issue was with a group of young male guests below us who continued to smoke pot and play loud music into the night in the parking lot. The manager tried to talk with them, but they barely listened. Our block of rooms filled up with pot smoke in the morning, too. There are strict rules about this, plus fines, so I hope they were applied. Plus, it was a shame that there was no breakfast, albeit advertised, due to Covid. Someday, we can all hope to go back to "normal".
Wonderfully clean room, loved our stay!

We booked the King Bed with Soaking Tub room and it was situated upstairs above the lobby and owners suite. Check in was easy and quick. The first thing we noticed when we walked in to our room was how clean and neat everything was. They had all the amenities - TV, microwave, fridge, table and chairs, extra chairs, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, extra comforter, plenty of towels. The bedding looked very white and clean. The bed was a spring mattress so it was quite bouncy but we still got a good night’s sleep. You can tell they do a great job cleaning because the tiles/grout in the bathroom weren’t yellowed or molded. The jetted tub was big and spacious. The only thing that was off-putting was some dust and hair came out from the jets when we first filled up the tub to rinse everything out. Other than that, the room was very comfortable. We stayed during the start of a storm and the rain hit the roof of the balcony pretty loudly but it wasn’t much of an issue. Also - this hotel faces a creek rather than the beach but we didn’t care too much for the view. We’d absolutely book this room again as it was well worth the money (under $150/night)!
Where's the Beach?

All things considered we had a nice stay. We only booked for one night for our visit to Ft. Bragg. The room was clean and comfortable and the young lady at the desk was helpful and friendly. However, if you are looking for a beach view this is not the hotel for you. What you get is the view of a stagnant, weed filled pond.
