Mediocre Marriott

Reviewed 5 august, 2022

Relatively small property showing its age. I still am amazed that Marriott hasn’t placed USB ports in all rooms. Really?? Using an electrical outlet?? Toilets are old and low. I am 5’4” and my knees were above my waist. Little things like the door handle on the closet appeared makeshift. Upholstery on sofa bed old and faded. Given its 5 miles from d/t FC, and the above assessment, I would choose another hotel next time.

Great stop for the family

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Carts available for luggage. Comfortable environment. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Facility seems relatively new and in great condition. Not far from downtown FOCO and plenty of places to eat.

Courtyard the needs a little TLC

A nice, but a little dated, hotel( bathrooms still have " preschool size toilets " Nice staff. Had breakfast in the courtyard which seemed more like a vacant lot then a mid priced Marriott. Grass needed mowing, shrubs needed trimming and needs flowers

Good location, friendly staff and refillable soap/shampoo dispensers

We stayed at this Courtyard location for one night both on our way to Mt. Rushmore and Sturgis and on our way back from Yellowstone National Park. Walt checked us in both times, was very friendly and welcomed me as a Marriott Bonvoy Plantinum Elite member. Room was good size, with a fridge and single cup coffee maker. The king size bed had 4 pillows and was very comfortable. We used the pool and jacuzzi as well, which was very relaxing after a 9 hour drive from Yellowstone. What I always look for and review is for the little plastics bottles and one bar soaps that a majority of hotels utilize and is a big plastic waste on the environment. This Courtyard had refillable types which we really loved and give a high-five too. Wish all hotels could go to this, imagine the waste saved. :) Due to COVID, Breakfast was grab and go and was enough to get us full. We had dinner twice at the nearby Carraba's which is within very easy walking distance. All in all, very affordable stay in a safe and nice location in Fort Collins. We had no issues as for the ones reviewed below.

Do not stay here

I got bedbugs while staying there staff was rude when I told them they lied and said there wasn’t any I had itchy bumps on up and down my arms and there is no other way I could’ve got them. Immediately when I talked to the manager about it she said “ you must’ve rubbed up against a bush!” Basically saying it was my fault in which it wasn’t. We weren’t in nature at all. She wanted to keep us hush hush about it. Then they lied and told us there wasn’t bed bugs. Clearly you can tell in the pics there was. Stay at your own risk. Horrible staff be aware of bedbugs.
