Excellent place
Our family of 4 stayed two nights over Spring break hi season. Love this place! The location couldn’t be more perfect. It is mid island, so away from the craziness of the North end, and away from the crowded big hotels/resorts on the south. It’s a Very short walk to the beach, just across the street. It’s actually closer to the water than some of the big resorts down the road, like the Wyndham, which is beachside, but quite a hike to the actual water. And the stretch of beach here was least populated and so peaceful. Although we were here 3/25-27, and the hotel was fully booked, we still had the pool to ourselves most of the day. Very calm and chill vibe. Great selection of pool and beach toys, floaters, chairs and a couple umbrellas. We used the wagons provided to help transport to the beach. Some of the beach chairs even had cooler pockets and the wagon had a built in table with cup holders. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful sunsets over the water each evening. The room was very clean. Nice size mini fridge with freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Walk in closet and plenty of storage. We had a standard double room located on the 2nd floor, overlooking the pool and close to the covered picnic area. The people here are so friendly. Checkin was a breeze, even though we arrived later than planned, after office hours, but we just called The number on the door and they were so accommodating and responsive. All around great experience here.
Great Stay
Just spent four nights at Hideaway Village in Fort Myers Beach. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Our room was clean and bright and the kitchenette area was well stocked with pots & pans, dinnerware, utensils and glasses. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. The location was one block from beach access and the motel provided beach chairs and wagons to load and pull all of your items to the beach. I would definitely stay here again!
Great visit for family
We stayed here during the Christmas holiday. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Make sure and let them know when to expect you since it is a smaller property there is not always someone at the desk (they are easy to get ahold of if needed though). Even though housekeeping could not be provided, it was easy to get fresh towels and additional supplies. The beach wagons and chairs were great and very convenient. The beach is 5 minutes or less and it was nice to stay on a quieter stretch of Estero Blvd. Laundry facilities were also available. The pool chairs were very nice and the pool was very warm. The grill and picnic table area was also nice. Our only regret was we didn't get a bigger room (we only had a couple weeks to plan due to a change in plans with covid). We had two double beds with a full well equipped kitchen and a small two seat table all in the same room. With two teenagers and a cold day one of the larger rooms with a bigger eating space and sitting area would've been nice. We would definitely stay here again for the beach convenience and lovely "extras".
Always Great
We spend ten days here twice a year and we have never had a bad experience. 5 min. walk to the beach. Hotel has wagons and umbrellas which makes it easy. Recommend to all our friends. Save money cooking are own meals in the units kitchen. Management and Staff are great!
A gem near the Beach
She says: We loved our stay at this vacation rental/suite hotel! The rooms look newly renovated and styled in a vintage surf vibe. We had the king suite. It was spacious and comfortable for a family of five. Although one of the couches was not a pull-out bed, we made it work. The king bed was nicely firm. Everything looked clean and neat. The kitchen had the bare minimum to function. I wish there was a pitcher to mix juice in, but overall it worked. I liked the little thoughtful touches like the accordion drying rack in the closet!! That was very helpful. We had to arrive late, but the office staff was accommodating and communicated very well. It was simple to get in and check in in the morning. Our teens said the pull out couches were comfortable. It was convenient to borrow beach chairs, wagons, beach toys, etc... and take the short walk to the beach. It was a beautiful shallow beach with dolphins and sand dollars and we even found some great shells in the early morning! He says: great price, great location, management was very friendly and communicated well throughout. The wagons and chairs were very accommodating and there were plenty for us to grab several for our family with lots to spare for others. Quiet inside the room. Half mile from Publix (easy walking straight down the road) Beautiful buildings and scenery. Some road construction at the time. We already recommended this place to friends.
