I was just pushed out your motel because of the color of my skin and also told that she can find me a motel that I can afford heavy said woman the time is 12:32 she insisted after the manager told her that he didn't want my kind in the building and even after that she went to building on something that I couldn't afford the room also went to see if she just wanted to save me some money stating that maybe I couldn't afford the room and also just because of the situation of me being black heaven said Indian woman at front desk and also refuse to give me her name I came and I've been overwhelmed and very tired just lost my mom and got back into town been working on houses that I have rented bed but didn't know I was going to be treated like this when I went to a motel and also just decided to sit down and try to reserve a room she said well maybe you can't afford the room maybe you should go somewhere else based up on your price ever or something like that but I'm just trying to save you money she kept going on and on about saving me money and balloon with me because of the color of my skin it felt overwhelming and very discriminated even after seeing the manager point at me and the oppression of him not wanting my kind in the building I don't know why is this a situation in this hotel and I probably wouldn't stay here you will hear from my attorney this is wrong for anyone to be assumed of not being able to afford a room just because he's black

This was the least expensive hotel stay on our 8 day Florida road trip. I wasn't expecting much at all. What we got was a very clean, spacious room with a kitchen and a super comfy king size bed! I wasn't aware of their deposit nor all of their rules for the room. It was fine though, we didn't have problems with any of that. *Coffee for the coffee maker wasn't provided,* Bring your own that works in that tiny coffee maker, but not sure where you can find them.

There were signages about pandemic precautions: masking, distancing, limit of 2 people in the elevators. There were even hand sanitizer dispensers.
The problem was staff do not seem to enforce masking uniformly. One receptionist stopped a guest who was unmasked, then another receptionist at another time didn’t even say a word!
Limiting housekeeping staff into rooms of short stays is reasonable. HOWEVER the hotel cannot forget hygiene check compliance; rooms especially bathrooms must be cleaned during 3 or more days of staff! Many hotels, yes Choice and Marriott hotel chains do clean rooms every 3 days!
The pandemic CANNOT be an excuse for putting aside normal maintenance of hygienic bathrooms especially for longer stays. Housekeeping crew are masking and wearing gloves. Is there any reason cleaning every 3 days could not be done?
Two room issues: (a) the room AC was noisy, even at low fan. I had to find a pharmacy to buy earplugs so I can sleep. (b) the bathtub creaks as one moves when taking shower. It’s not just mine, I can hear the same creaking sound from next door. The tub looked overlaid with a plastic material, the creaking likely due to wrong fit or that plastic material detaching off from whatever was underneath.
Otherwise the accommodations itself was good. Spacious room with kitchenette. WiFi was free, strong and steady. Despite the rather loud hum from the AC, the room climate control was good. Free parking. The location was a good base for exploring Fort Myers and vicinity.
Clean, No Frills, Affordable

If you simply want an ultra-affordable, super-basic, clean place to sleep, this is it. Comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, TV, tiny kitchen. Window opens a few inches & is screened, so you can get fresh air. HVAC unit under the window. Free wifi is adequate for basics like email; the wifi vendor provides excellent tech help by phone if you have connection issues. Kitchen has a sink, dish rack, 2-burner countertop stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, 2 pans, dishware and flatware, fridge, small table with 2 chairs. If you want a full-size fridge, specify when you reserve; some rooms have only a small dorm fridge. If you want an easy chair, specify; some rooms offer only kitchen chairs for seating. Due to COVID precautions, housekeeping only enters your room every 4 days. Otherwise, it's do-it-yourself. You can exchange dirty linen for clean anytime at the front desk. You can get extra bar soap, shampoo or dishwashing liquid anytime at the front desk. You must bag all garbage and put it in the bin closet on each floor. The front desk provides plenty of garbage bags & the bin closets are emptied frequently. Walls are paper thin - bring ear plugs in case you have neighbors! Front desk staff are cheerful & helpful. A popular hotel, so reserve in advance!

Girl on desk Tues afternoon Oct 20 when we checked in for 2 nights passed policy for cleaning the room bed trash. We read it It said room would be cleaned comp!etely. She also questioned my wife's name Very surprised We had the same last name. Why were We even asked.
We were out all day Wed and returned . Our bed was unmade dirty towels not vaccumed . We called front desk and were told to bring our dirty towels to the front desk to be replaced and this was the policy at this time The clerk then handed the current cleaning policy which was completely different than the original . If I had known
I had to do the cleaning I would not have stayed here i would not stay here again Supposedly manager will contact us. I be very would surprised if this happens
