Great, friendly staff! Made me feel right at home,I was traveling for work and manager Michele was able to accommodate me during one of the busiest seasons in south Dakota...pheasant hunting!! I am so grateful and highly recommend this place to everyone! Very clean rooms and they sanitized the lobby thoroughly every two hours. I felt safe... thank you Fort Pierre!
Great Stay
This chain and motel is awesome. Spacious rooms, nice place for dog to do business outdoors with bags, friendly staff on check in. You can relax in here, nice chair and reading light. It will be my chain to check on everywhere we travel and stay with my dog. You can easily have your own breakfast in room during Covid times.
AMAZING
We've been on the road for about five months during the pandemic, and have stayed in a vast number of hotels. Some were really good, some were really bad. My Place in Fort Pierre rates right up there at the top. This has not been our experience with extended stay establishments. Most end up being just short of crap. From the moment we walked into My Place, we were greatly surprised. The lobby was simple yet clean and attractive. The staff was eager to please and very friendly. Once in our room, our amazement continued. It was immaculate and spotless. We've not been in such a place in a long time. The beds are very comfortable and clean, and the room looks almost brand new. Great kitchen area, and the bathroom is very clean and spacious. I would stay at the hotel every time we come to the area. We ended up staying almost two weeks. To top all of this off the staff is extremely friendly and will bend over to make you stay as pleasant as it can be. If you want a great, clean, attractive place to stay in the Pierre/Fort Pierre area, and one that is very affordable, check out My Place. You will not be disappointed.
Great for Dogs
Driving across the country starting in Michigan, this was a perfect stop after 13 hours in a car! I have a big dog and it's been hard before finding a place, but My Place was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the cleanliness and care they took. All the staff were masked, and they had plenty of sanitizer. Clean rooms, big space out back to walk the dog. I would definitely stay here again!
frustrated about reservation
I was very frustrated that I didnt have a room for the second night or enough beds for the first night. The bathroom floor was also disgusting. We had to wear our shoes, then it was tracked out across the kitchen
