Fine Hotel for Overnight

This hotel was fine for just the one night that we needed. There were a couple of things that needed attention on the ceiling, but it was a comfortable stay. Check in and out went well as the clerk was good.
Good for what we needed

We were just passing through and needed a place to sleep on our way through. The hotel is fine for what it is. We paid about $90 and got a clean, basic room. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We had a problem with our first room, and when I talked to the woman at the front desk, she immediately found a new room for us. About 15 minutes later she came to check in on us to be sure everything was okay. Breakfast included prepackaged carbs: Pop Tarts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and bagels; Cereals: single serving cold cereal, grits, and oatmeal packets; yogurt, oranges, and bananas; some microwave breakfast burritos, microwave eggs, and make-your-own waffles.
Overnight stay on our way to Gatlinburg

Decent enough place—sheets were clean and beds were comfortable. The place/rooms looked dated—popcorn ceilings....etc. There was also kind of a musty/dog smell. My daughter thought it was more of an onion smell. Breakfast was very basic—nothing fancy, but we grabbed a cup of orange juice and a cereal bar for the road. Other than that—the place was okay for a quick overnight stay.
I’d stay there again

On our way north for the holidays. After 12 hours on the road, all you want is a quiet, restful night, on a comfortable bed. And that’s what we got. The breakfast is not a full one, but with the current situation, understandable. Clean, and friendly.
NICE Recently Renovated Hotel - Super Clean - Comfortable Beds
Reviewed 15 september, 2020
Stayed at this Quality Inn on September 12th, 2020. We had gotten a fantastic rate on a Two Queen Bed room on the Choice Hotel website. The Choice Hotels member price that day was only $70 so we weren't expecting much. We were just hoping it was clean with reasonably comfortable beds. To our pleasant surprise we found this hotel to be recently renovated with very nice beds with mattress toppers, bed linens, plenty of white fluffy towels, newer furnishings and carpet. The bath had been updated too with a granite counter. The larger screen cable TV had a decent amount of channels plus the room had free wi-fi. Hotel desk clerk couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with. We had a problem getting our remote to work and he was up to our room within 5 minutes to address the situation. There's a nice free breakfast room which normally serves hot waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage but due to Covid-19 rules is only allowed to offer the waffles and pre-packaged items such a cold cereals, breakfast rolls and fruit such as apples and bananas. The area was relatively quiet and there was no highway noise from I65. We didn't use the pool but the area looked well kept as well. The minor drawback for some is that there is no elevator. However, the hotel is only two stories and as we just had small carry-on type bags staying on the second floor worked out fine for us. The note I will direct to the hotel management is to install night lights in the bathrooms or replace the built-in hair dryers with ones that also have a night light. The light in the bathroom wouldn't stay on all night as it's on a sensor so when we needed the bathroom in the night my husband and I both ran into the sharp corner of the granite counter top which is directly in front of the door. Despite the counter being dangerous in the night, we'll be staying here again as we frequent the area to visit family.
