We chose this Inn to kick off our week long Yellowstone Camping trip and so glad we did. This place is incredible. We stayed in the valley view room and it felt like we were staying in our own private log cabin. Rooms were immaculate and beds so comfortable. The best part had to be the breakfast that was made fresh by the owners. You will not leave hungry thats for sure. Homeade crumb cake and french toast cobbler to die for and not sure what coffee they use but it was amazing. The husband and wife owners do such an amazing job. We arrived late at night and even though front office was closed clear instructions were left for us and room was warm and ready to go. Made for a perfect end to a long travel day. Can't recommend this inn enough.

We had a beautiful room and a fantastic breakfast at the Yellowstone Basin Inn. Given the labor shortage in the area, the homemade blueberry pancakes and coffee cake were a wonderful! The property is really clean, easy to find and the owner provides helpful restaurant tips in the area. Gardiner is a small but beautiful town to stay in near Yellowstone NP. We would definitely stay again.

A great & reasonably priced choice (compared to others near the park) for a hotel located just a few miles north of Gardiner & the north entrance to Yellowstone. Beautiful views of mountains & herds of elk nearby in Yellowstone River Valley. Easy access to start your Yellowstone adventures beginning in Mammoth Hot Springs. Clean, comfortable rooms, cute decor w/great mattresses & wonderful homemade full hot breakfast included. A few good restaurants in town but many close early so plan accordingly. We were so happy w/our experience we extended our stay! The owners are lovely-highly recommended.

This is a beautiful inn with extremely pleasant owners, a wonderful breakfast which is complimentary, the rooms are well appointed with beautiful views from your door. Definitely would recommend this inn. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed too.

We had a roomy room which was on a slab, there were throw rugs that covered most but not all areas of the slab. There was nowhere for us to sit directly outside the room to enjoy the view. The breakfast was adequate, the eggs were good the potatoes were really good but the blueberry muffins were store bought and cold. We saw minimal wildlife(elk) during our stay. One of the owners told us he thought it was because there had been grizzly bears in the area. The inn is to far from downtown Gardiner. We prefer to enjoy a stroll to dinner and shopping after a day of touring and that is NOT possible from this inn. I believe we were in a handicap accessible room( the Gallatin) which I think would work well for a guest in a wheel chair.
