I selected this hotel based on location and availability of the good-neighbor discount for local residents. Due to the pandemic, the Law School Admissions Council is reimbursing up to $135 for hotel if a quiet place is needed for one to take the LSAT. My test time was 4:00 and I was able to check in at 2:00 to get settled. The room had very little light. The desk was attached to a wall facing the kitchenette area. It worked fine for me to take the exam because I felt like I was in a study carrel at college. Literally zero distractions. However, if I were staying here with family or paramour, I would not be overjoyed. The sofa looked and felt like a Barbie doll couch, but not a cute one. I suppose the vinyl-esque fabric is easy to clean. There was a decent flat screen TV, however, with Netflix access, so I was able to decompress after the LSAT by watching about 4 episodes of “Narcos.” I think there were two morsels of mouse excrement on the far corner ledge of the bathroom sink. The toiletry offerings were basic — two wrapped “cleansing bars” and one small bottle each of Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner. The walk-in shower stall itself was ok but the water escaped the open entryway rather easily and the ambient air entered the shower freely, causing me to hover directly beneath the hot water because I was freezing. It was a quick shower. The HVAC system is outdated. These systems, installed directly beneath the windows, are still present in many Hilton properties but there are instructions to instead use the upgraded wall unit. In my Springhill Suite, I found myself turning on heat, instantly feeling like a desiccated Sponge Bob, then turning heat completely off, opting instead to wear layers. I requested two feather pillows and received same. Otherwise, hotel offers foam pillows. Sheets were clean. Plenty of power outlets to charge electronics but no usb ports which are available in more modern properties. This didn’t inconvenience me since I brought a wall charger. If one is a coffee drinker, I suggest planning to drive about 3/4 mile down the road to Starbucks. The Café Valet medium roast had little body, flavor, or caffeine content. The paper cups at the breakfast bar were individually wrapped (maybe to preserve hygiene during pandemic). The plastic to-go lids and the cardboard sleeves did not fit these cups, so perhaps the hotel ran out of the usual cups and were pinch-hitting with cups used in rooms. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel was, for the most part, clean. The location was fine, tucked away from traffic yet within easy driving distance of restaurants and shops. If you’re looking for a utilitarian hotel at a decent price, with very little luxury, the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Alpharetta, GA, is a viable option.
Clean, updated, quiet, friendly

Check in and check out was quick and friendly. My room key did not work the first, second or third times, until the clerk came up to the room with me and had to attach a battery to the door. The room was updated, clean and spacious with a large sofa, very comfortable bed, kitchenette with no utensils or cookware, a desk, a great air conditioner, and a modern walk-in shower. The hotel is also somewhat secluded, yet close driving distance to food and shopping and only 40 minutes from the airport. Breakfast was good with boiled eggs, waffles, pastries and cereal options, and coffees. They also had a mini store where you could buy snacks and drinks. The ice machine had a hand scoop, which is surprising during these covid times. A $90 deposit was withdrawn from my card without notice. It has three floors and an elevator. Very quiet. Overall, very happy with my stay for one night.

Dedicated Marriott customer. Prefer Fairfield Inns and SpringHill Suites over full service for many reasons. But this SH Suites was icky and in need of some renovations. Believe occupancy was no more than 50%, but can't be certain. Arrived around 3:00 and was given a room that was below Marriott standards. Bathroom was a bit dirty. I choose SH Suites for may reasons, one of which is a fridge in every room. Not this one. It had a fridge, but the freezer was apparently broken (still had tons of frozen over ice in it), and had about 10 towels crammed underneath it, I guess to absorb water from defrosting ice. Take the darn unit out of the room, and/or advise the customer (me) if it is OK if you assign me to that room!! Noticed three bugs near the bed (obviously hadn't been thoroughly vacuumed. Just overall sub-par experience. Won't return.
Nice stay...but open the pool.

I rated 4/5 due to the pool not being open. I did not care about the pool, but I did witness a family of 5 children that all wanted the pool. It wasn’t on the website that the pool was closed due to “maintenance”. I wondered if it was a COVID thing and they just didn’t want to say. Other than this, all was really nice.
Clean, comfortable, peaceful night's sleep!

I had originally booked a different hotel for the night, but due to a number of awful circumstances, we left that place in a hurry. I had stayed at a SpringHill Suites before, so when I saw there was one nearby I was very happy! I walked in without a reservation at 8:30 pm, shared my story and they took excellent care of me and my kids! This hotel is quiet, very clean and bright (no dark dingy dark brown walls in this place!), fresh clean smell, and extremely comfortable beds! I am so glad we ended up at SpringHill Suites and I would happily stay at this location the next time I find myself in the Atlanta area.
