Perfect for us three girls, so reasonable for a one night stay including breakfast. Superb location for gig at the hydro or around that location. Lovely guy at reception too. Great stopover for concert night 😍
Budget price and now I understand why

Stayed 1 night for a concert which had actually been cancelled earlier in the day however decided to make the most of it and had a night out in Glasgow (we had travelled from Dundee. Check in was chaotic. Arrived at 4pm to be told that room was not ready (it states you can check in from 2pm but we decided to go for lunch first), in fact everyone who was checking in did not have a room ready. We were told we could have a twin room to sit in whilst the room was ready which makes no sense as the room would have to be sealed off again when we moved due to Covid?? The couple in front of us had just cancelled their booking as they were to be at the same concert and had decided to go home and offered us their room as they had only walked in put bags down and then ended up checking out when they discovered concert had been cancelled but reception said this could not be done as the room would need to be cleaned, hence why I cant understand why they would put us in a twin room whilst we waited on our double room to be ready. We chose to sit in the bar whilst room was being dealt with, we ordered some drinks and have to say they were not particularly refreshing. Husbands beer was not exactly cold and my pink gin had no ice (no ice in hotel) and the lemonade was room temperature and then after finishing drink had me running to the toilet within 10 mins! The restaurant was closed but we went into the centre for food and we did not pay or stay for breakfast. Bed was not comfy at all and I did not sleep very well that night husband also said bed was not great. The room (308) was clean but when I went to close the window I noticed that the handle was sticky and covered in thick grime, upon check out I did let reception know but they didn’t seem interested.
Great value but forget breakfast

Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and £74 for a two night stay was great value. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Sadly the restaurant and bar were closed (apart from serving breakfast) but this wasn't a problem with many other options close by. My only gripe was with breakfast; almost £10 for a cooked breakfast which consisted of one sausage, one slice of bacon, a few mushrooms, a spoonful of beans and a dollop of watery scrambled egg. On leaving, the chap on reception did ask if everything had been ok so I mentioned the breakfast and, very kindly, he did not charge for it.
Friendly, welcoming stay

We have stayed at the Campanile Hotel a few times now and have always had a friendly welcome. It is very close to the SECC and Armadillo. It is easy to park. The rooms are a wee bit tired looking now but clean and very comfortable. Very happy to return.

This is a budget hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. The room was a good temperature, the bed comfy so we had a great nights sleep. Friendly check-in. Good location. Covid mitigations in place so felt safe and able to relax.
